How was he hired in the first place? Guy gets fired midseason last year and gets hired again. To me, getting fired midseason is automatic grounds for never getting a job at or above your previous station in the NFL ever again.

As for worse than Mike McCoy, I nominate Brian Schottenheimer, another guy who somehow got a new job as an OC this year despite his failings with the Jets and Rams.

Trent Richardson is the most notable player on any of those rosters unfortunately. (on the bama team) Zach Mettenberger, a handful of RB's who did play in the NFL, and a few QB's who were solid in college but never got a sniff in the NFL.

I think it might be aimed at drawing College fans of the local teams, at least initially. The Arizona team has 4 pretty well known ASU players along with the former ASU coach.

It won't replace the USFL, it's basically trying to replace the AFL (that indoor league that used to be on espn in the spring quite a bit), which is down to 4 or 5 teams, only one of which is older than like 2 seasons in the league.

It drives me nuts how he's constantly stomping his foot, clapping his hands begging for the snap with the play clock @1. Why is getting the snap in time so hard? Maybe that was more of a Mike McCoy thing, not sure if they still do that. Although they did get a delay of game after a change of possession in Jacksonville last year. The famed game where they picked off Bortles twice with the lead in the last 2minutes and somehow lost.

4000/35/13 season in this day and age isn't much of anything, with all due respect. I heard 5 QBs iirc are on pace for 5000 yard seasons. Gotta adjust the benchmarks according to the rarefied era
