People say this because first-round draft picks only "hit" 50% of the time and even when they hit they are rarely as good as Khalil Mack
Let's also look at the actual trade-- 2019 1st and 6th, 2020 1st and 3rd, for Mack, 2020 2nd, and 2020 (conditional) 5th
So they really gave up a first and third and are moving down one round
He's a superstar at the game's second-most important position. He's a boat, and the picks are the mystery box.
