Speaking of highly drafted cornerbacks: Saints held the Bucs to 99 yards net passing today. Sure, a big reason for that is injured/bad QB play, but another big reason is Marshon Lattimore completely shutting down Mike Evans. (No wonder he was so mad.)

1 catch for 13 yards. It was beautiful. He made some terrific pass breakups, too. Having a shutdown corner makes such a big difference to this defense. Seriously, if you're a fan of cornerback play watch Lattimore sometime. He's got everything you could want in a shutdown corner.

don't feel like I've seen a full Saints game at all this year and Redzone really isn't much good for evaluating CBs! Do they have any primetime games coming up?

just checked - TNF in wk 14 is the only primetime game they'll get - the only full, live games we get in Australia are NF, SNF and MNF

I'm holding out hope Saints-Rams will be flexed to SNF (Week 12 SNF right now is Packers-Steelers, and I expect the Packers will be done for and the Steelers don't have any serious divisional competition). Believe it or not, a first-round bye could be at stake.

If they flexed MNF then Ravens-Texans would already be out of there.

Hey, speaking of Lattimore, and as long as I'm thinking about it, anyone here have experience making GIFs from Game Pass?

So wait, the Saints get one primetime game but the Dolphins get three in a row plus another one in week 14?

Miami are a "playoff team"

New Orleans is a small market non playoff team the last few years

Conveniently ignore the fact NO play the most exciting games the last few years and are hell fun to watch.

Also I was going to mention that Apple play. Ridiculous

The KC play at least looked half planned.

Saints open as two-point favorites in Buffalo.

I don't see how the Bills can beat the Saints. It'd be a shock.

I mean, I didn't think the Bills could get to 5-2 either, but here we are.

Sounds like Terron Armstead might miss the game which is worrisome. Armstead, Strief, and Ramczyk are all NFL tackles. Not sure whoever will be filling in now is. That would definitely throw a wrench into the offense. (I've heard it said that most NFL teams are two-deep when it comes to NFL-caliber talent at many positions; it's when you have to get into the third string at a position that you start to get into trouble.)

3/5 starting linemen being out (Warford too) could be a problem, for sure. Thankfully the Saints defense is legitimate.

the bengals offensive line everybody.

Sure campbell is a good DE, but he's not an edge rusher so if you as an OT give up the edge to him, you really suck. (that's ogbuehi, not the only Bengals OL to look like straight trash on this play) Bengals need at least two new offensive tackles and a center. Yeesh.

(speaking of which, the OT's in the 2015 draft wowzers at how bad that group was)

Bills are one of the teams that has a real home advantage imo - their D always seem to be 2x better up there

Bengals OL is horrendous def need changes

Also lol at Evans getting suspended but not AJG. I mean I get he was ejected but still, what AJ did was obviously way worse, even if it was to the punk ramsey

When do the Bengals say "enough is enough" with Marvin Lewis? A testament to mediocrity.

It's super duper important statistically...they win almost half the time. 148-150 since they instituted Thursday night football in 2006. Assuming I can count.

I'm guessing > 50% because a team that wins any given game is more likely to win other games.
