This year is proving exactly why the NFL flex rules are horrendous and need to be changed to allow games to be flexed by the Sunday night before the next week. There's arguably 4 games that could be played instead of that game (4 deserving as there are probably 6 or 7 I'd rather watch but don't deserve SNF).

Getting mad at the "can't let the inmates run the prison" line shows you can't be taken seriously about anything involving this situation. That goes for players and 2p2 posters alike. That's a perfect example of going well out of your way to be offended.

Also, as with everything, context is important.

Had Michael Irvin said on NFL Network "This is why having strong coaching is important, players can be crazy, they want to go out past curfew... you can't have the inmates running the prison" it is a little weird but nobody bats an eye.

Calling black men inmates in a prison when you pay their salaries and are on the side of the discussion that wants to limit their freedom of speech and freedom of expression... If you can't understand why that's offensive then that's on you.
