These factors all led to a very strong conclusion from Judge Mazzant regarding Elliott’s likelihood of winning the case when a final ruling is issued: “The circumstances of this case are unmatched by any case this Court has seen. . . . Fundamental unfairness infected this case from the beginning, eventually killing any possibility that justice would be served.”

Those are strong words. Damn son.

How do contracts work when they are injured? Is there a difference between ir and not dressing for a game? All I know is that nfl contracts are non guaranteed for injury.

I don't ever recall any injured players pointing out the irony of how they got hurt playing football and then they lose money from their contract because they are physically unable to play.

They still get paid if injured.

wow.

still probably serves the six games next year but never a bad time to lol NFL. Really don't understand why they treat their star players as enemies and draw it out as long as humanly possible.

I'm shocked. Really not sure what the NFL is trying to do outside of sling mud at their stars as long as possible (Brady / Zeke).
ROG is a nerd who was bullied and is now obsessed with lording his meager power to remind everyone who's the boss and put them in their place

Just a guess

Bold predictions:

Cleveland finishes out of the AFC North basement. DeShone Kizer starts every game.
Oakland doesn't make the playoffs but San Diego does.

That's all I got for now.

Props to NFL on game times. Idk if it was them or the super aids offenses all day but, it was nice to see several games finish under 3 hours

I heard about this and saw the NFL was trying to shorten game times. What things did they change in an attempt to accomplish that?

One thing I heard was that they actually got rid of commercials after kickoffs, which, good for them.

Well on the bright side for Carolina their defense played well, Cam didn't get sacked, and he completed his last six passes to finish the day at 14/25. Plus they host Buffalo next week.

I think they have a good shot at winning the division. It's filled with meh and they have a very good defense (and possibly a reliable run game). Good defense+at least some offense usually does well in lolbad divisions.

Titans looked ok against the Raiders. Texans looked really bad and Colts with Luck will be better but they seem like the typical mediocre 8-8 team.

Gonna be a snail race to the top. I think Titans=Jaguars>Colts>Texans but the first three feel fairly close. I got the Titans slightly ahead due to a higher potential ceiling but Jaguars probably with a more reliable baseline.

Don't worry, two teams that combined for nine turnovers and seven points this week will whet your appetite on TNF.

The 10th president of these United States, John Tyler, born in 1790, fathered 15 children, although only by 2 women. Fun fact: he has two living grandchildren. Not great grandchildren, grandchildren.
