Payton's more pissed one of the bountygate whistle blowers now works in the front office somewhere (not replays or officiating though).

All right, I'm definitely rooting against the Seahawks for the rest of the year after the bull**** they're pulling on the victory formation

If the Vikings lose one more and Vikings / Rams / Saints all finish 12-4, I *think* Saints win the three-way tie for #2 (despite having lost to both teams)

no, Vikings instantly win because they swept Rams/Saints. Then Rams beat Saints. So Saints automatically #4 in that scenario.

Saints can't beat Philly in those either.

espn's playoff machine is actually broken, it counts common games as a tiebreaker but they don't unless there's 4 which Min and Phi don't have--and I think that means Minny > Philly.

dude is a genius. got a ginger to the playoffs and knew today that with the packers missing 5 CBs only first-level thinkers would continue to throw deep

Has anybody not had an ACL tear after the team said they're pretty sure it's an ACL tear?

I wonder if there's a QB out there the Eagles could sign that's good enough not to tank their Super Bowl hopes

They should sign Keenum so that Teddy can start. Go full circle.

Stupid trade deadline.

You're a better poster when you don't start this crap.

Browns currently have the first and sixth picks in rounds 1 and 2 of the NFL draft.

Sashi Brown trolled so hard. This is why future picks don't have as much value to GM's as you think, decent chance your replacement gets them instead.

Not only the future picks but he had to work with a bare bones payroll. Browns owner is cheap as hell.

too many injuries. the future may be snow

snow game involved slower players and less impactful hits

some sort of artificial snow on the field for all games

they could colour it pink during breast cancer awareness month

Yep this. Spent way too much time looking into this today. I think it's even simpler than what wheatrich is saying tho. If MIN/NO/CAR are all 12-4 then MN wins the north and NO wins the south by virtue of H2H vs CAR and then MN gets 2 sead over NO due to H2H vs them.

This (super TLDR) article actually talks about a future in which we would see "athletes" wearing something that connects directly into their brain and controls a mechanical body from the sidelines for violent sports like football. The robots could potentially even be built to the exact athletic specifications of the humans so as to not really shake up the type of athletes who are skilled enough to play at the highest level.
