9ers obv a live dog here. The defensive strategies for the Rams that worked against TB won't work nearly as well here. Decades ago rumor was teams playing against Danny White of the Cowboys would deliberately ease up on hard sacks because they thought White was worse than the backup. Will the Rams ease up on sacking Jimmy G hard because he is an awful QB?

This game goes if Chiefs hold off the Bills. Bengals may be able to slow down Mahomes enough to keep it close. But Burrow plays great in big spots so I expect the Bengals to get at least 24 and cover. Turnovers will be key as usual.

This is the matchup if the Bills upset the Chiefs. Bills at home fuel Josh Allen to play at a GOAT level. Assuming close to zero temps Burrow's receivers will be challenged to hold onto the ball in longish patterns, which is his big weapon. Take that away and I don't see much of a chance for the Bengals, notwithstanding a huge day for Mixon, shorter routes (leading to time consuming drives) and some key defensive stands. I like Bills by 10+ with a small saver parlay on Bengals to under. Teasing Bills -1 to open leg also looks good.

FWIW heavy steam on KC moved today's line from -1 to -2.5-120. For the record all 3 faves in divisional round also got late action and failed to cover.
