rape has been so bad he needs to be in a separate tier of his own

Allen is terrible but Bills win this easy because the game has super passed BB by and Mac is junk

not sure he could possibly disagree with it. I mean...obviously he will but Josh is clearly less credentialed than the other three in terms of playoff experience and play he's been outperformed by them this season as well

I toyed with putting Dak ahead of him but in fairness, I would rather have Josh in a playoff series than Dak right now.

I think Kyler vs Burrow is the most contentious one. I love Kyler's skillset and he's been very good, but I'm not sure he's got the killer mindset that Joe has. But for all his great games and potential, Burrow has also had some shoddy performances too

the 'been strongly implicated in two sexual assaults but is still somehow lionised by the media but can't throw more than 5 yards downfield and is being propped up by good coaching and supporting cast' category

I'm a 9er fan and a Deebo stan, and I'm not sure I'll go this far, but his stats placed side by side with Kupp's are impressive:

Kupp: 195 rushes + targets for 1965 total yards and 16 total tds (also 0/1 passing)
Deebo: 180 rushes + targets for 1955 total yards and 14 total tds (also 1/2 passing for 24 yards and a passing TD).

Kupp played all 17 games, Deebo played 15.5.

Both are the engines for their respective offenses, but I'd argue if you replaced Deebo with Kupp and vice versa, the Niners would be much worse and the Rams would be about the same. This might be more of an indictment on Kyle's offense/Garapoopoo's arm.

Also, I'm not smart enough to figure out yards above expectation (whether that's a combination of YAC/yards after contact/or something else), but I gotta figure Deebo is atop that leaderboard

I like the Pats' chances if they run the ball 46 times again.....

well the main reason he doesn't throw deep balls as much is because he's playing behind an absolute horrible offensive line - hard to say if they're worse at run blocking or pass blocking, but maybe worse offensive line in the league in past 4-5 years, so I wouldn't call that a good supporting cast.

Which is basically my point. Adams is certainly a better WR, but you only get 11 players and Deebo's value as a breakaway runner + rock solid WR puts him on another level.

Plus he's 4 years younger and more athletic, coming from a RB mold.

Godgers deserves a tier to himself & another tier between Him and the 2nd best QB. Included Stafford & Tannehill (feel_wrath didn't include them). Moved down mahomes & brady who had relatively poor season after adjusting for the talent surrounding them. Moved Burrow up after having a great year.

I think Burrow ended up with the healthiest talent surrounding him in terms of play makers (tee, chase, boyd, mixon) but his offensive line performed considerably worse then KC/TB. Rodgers playing the worst game of his career week 1 is certainly long forgotten at this point. Haven't seen a site/metric that doesn't have Brady as a top 5 QB this year(WAR, DYAR, PFF player grades etc).

Eric Weddle signs for the Rams, 2 years after he retired

Love Weddle - one of my favourite players of the past 15 years. Will be interesting to see what kind of shape he’s in tho

Any interest in SWAMI for the playoffs?

My compsci major mini-me wants to help me run it if there’s enough interest.

hmmm, your rankings are of course embarrassing and ridiculous but thanks for letting me know about the two I omitted. New ranking incoming

Since you have brady and mahomes above Godgers I feel the need to remind you that you forgot to say at the beginning of your post that the order of QBs within a tier are written in no particular order.

Yes

Also, just going by their respective 2p2 tire pumpers, Allen >>>> Rodgers

Playoff QB rankings

Tier 1

Brady (Playoff win % .756)
Mahomes (.750)
Rodgers (.550)

Tier 2

Allen (.500)
Prescott (.333)

Tier 3

Murray
Burrow
Tannehill (.500)
Stafford (.000)
Carr
Garropolo (.667)

Tier 4

Hurts
Jones
Rape (.591)

Tannehill is a little problematic IMO as I think his charms are fairly subjective but he's been consistently good but not great for the past 3 seasons and he hasn't bottled it in the playoffs so I think he has to be ahead of Stafford. tbh, I can't disagree with an argument that he belongs ahead of Murray and Burrow but I just think their ceilings are a little higher.

IDK
