So I think that's probably your best chance. However we are getting better and better at matriculating down the field. So, you may need to score TDs every time going the other way. We could get Watson vs. Nicklaus - Duel in the Sun at Turnberry.
Btw we got exactly the Duel in the Sun at Turnberry - the best two players in the sport playing at the absolute top of their game - delivering haymaker after haymaker, basically playing a different game than everyone else. And once again the Kansas City player came out on top!

Watson finished -12, Nicklaus finished -11, third place finished -1.

There's a better documentary about the Duel in the Sun somewhere, made fairly recently - but I couldn't find it.

Allen & Mahomes are both very good, but neither were top 2 in the sport this year. There is an award called the most valuable player and it is given to the player who is the best player in the sport each year - neither Mahomes or Allen is a contender for the award. The award will be given to Aaron Godgers this year (for a 2nd year in a row) - he was miles ahead of both of the QBs you were talking about both last year and this year.

I will give it KC - arrowhead was rocking Sunday. I’ve been to a lot of sporting events in my life and I’ll say that place was electric.

Who's better at QB?

Comparing QB to non-QB in football is irrelevant if that's where you're going. QB is everything in the postseason.

Yeah and where is Godger now?

Regular season MVP != best player in the sport. What you do in the playoffs, especially as a QB, is everything. Godger has been shitting the bed in the playoffs for a while now. This last loss was a terrible performance.

The loss was bad, but I wouldn't say Godgers played poorly. And I sure as hell wouldn't say either allen or mahomes would have done better than Godgers did - even if they had chemistry with Godgers' "pass catching weapons" as he does. Keep in mind the temperature was like 30 degrees colder and a lot windier in Lambeau.

Adams is the only packers WR or TE that is in the top 100 of pass catches in the NFL. The corpses of cobb and mercedes lewis combined for 1 catches for 0 yards. The other 3 pass catchers who got looks were un-drafted bums and a TE with 35 catches in his young NFL career and they combined for 1 catch for 6 yards. That is it - non-Adams WRs & TEs combined for 6 receiving yards total.

For the past few years GB front office has said we have the best QB why bother getting him weapons and then they see back to back MVPs and think that proves their point that he doesn't need weapons. However, if they would trade any defender for a top 75 pass catchers we would be at least 7 points better per game (that is net points after assuming the D gives up an extra point or so per game w/o our best defender).

I am lucky enough to be one of the few people in the world that can say allen and mohomes were the 2nd and 3rd best QBs I saw play football live this past weekend.

Probably never gonna have to hear how Fraudgers is better than Brady ever again after this weekend atleast

The TB12 hating zealots went from Manning (lolololololol) to Fraudgers (lolol) and now they will all have to collectively go to Mahomes I guess. Can't say I care much about that 1 considering he's like 2 decades younger. MJ/Bron already soaked up all the different eras AIDS talk so this 1 feels like it'll fall a bit flat.

I have excellent over-the-air reception, so I always watch games that way. I worked in TV streaming industry and it's the least amount of delay from the stadium. It's anywhere from 30 sec to 1.5 mins ahead of streaming although even over-the-air is starting to implement more delays to cash in on targeted ads. I also try and only post after a minute or so as not to spoil others. Get a cheap HD antenna and see if you can watch that way.

you said the two best players. now i'm not arguing with Mahomes as much, but Godgers and GOAT are prob 1A and 1B for this NFL season.

As long as Mahomes doesn't quit the country club because they hate jews..

(Didn't even know Tom Watson was from KC until I was told he's an alumni when we toured Pembroke Hill)

I'm not following.

Brady has better weapons, Godgers was playing in 13 degree snow and wind while brady was playing in FL and brady still had worse stats.

brady- 55% comp, 6.1 yds per attempt, 1 INT, 1 TD
Godgers- 69% comp, 7.8 yds per attempt, 0 INT

I guess this weekend is a microcosm of the brady vs Godgers debate. No matter if we are talking about this weekend or their careers: Godgers plays with worse weapons and puts up better stats, but we are told brady played great and Godgers played decent.

Potential SB lines on Bovada:

LAR -5.5
CIN

LAR
KC -3

SF -3
CIN

SF
KC -3.5

KC only being favored by 3 or 3.5 is what sticks out to me. I would have guessed -8.5 vs SF and -6.5 vs LAR (since it is a home game).

And hopefully Mahomes' overbearing wife doesn't give him the yips. Yikes I just scared myself.

We lived in the same neighborhood during their first couple years in KC. She always seemed to be pretty nice but that might have changed with him becoming that big. OTOH, his brother always struck me as a total weirdo.

She came off really weird on TV. My uncles all thought she was the thing that gave him the yips.

There is no pass catcher in the world worth 6 points per game, let alone the ~75th best. Their line vs the Cards moved 3 points when Adams and Lazard were ruled out

I agree no pass catcher by himself is worth 6 points just like there are no car tires that will make a car reduce its 1/4 mile time by more than a second. However, if you are trying to race your car and you only have 3 tires acquiring a 4th tire will make your car drastically faster.

The gap from going from having one elite WR and a bunch of 100+ pass catchers to 0 elite WRs and a bunch of 100+ pass catchers isn't nearly as big of a jump as going from 1 elite WR & a bunch of 100+ pass catchers to 1 elite WR and 1 starting caliber pass catcher when you have Godgers.

So the line moves more if you add someone like Nelson Agholor and take out Jaire Alexander than if you just take out Adams?

Rodgers had a better season. He can have the MVP, Allen and Mahomes were up and down a lot. Would still pick either of those two or Brady over Rodgers for one game at this point.

He didn’t play “bad”, but that was the first time he ever got held under 20 points in a playoff game. If he’s as good as he usually is on that bomb to Jones at the end of the first or when he tries to fit it in to Adams on their last drive, then GB wins. Subpar game for him for sure.
