Probably the two teams with the fewest fans on this site, so I figured I'd start the thread.

Can the Panthers stay undefeated at home this year?

Should be an exciting game with the Panthers running and the Cardinals passing.

confusing pole imo, especially since he switched the order of teams between the thread title and the pole choices

This was right before John Fox went into the locker room at the half, finally realized "wait a minute, this DeAngelo Williams can run the ball", and D-Will went 10 for 68 and a TD in the 2nd half setting up the 2nd-half-of-the-season explosion into the hearts of fantasy players everywhere.

Yeah true.

Michael Turner had a pretty sick season too...and 42 yards later his ass is watching TV in Atl.

Keep Deangelo from going insane and play solid D and we SHOULD def. win.
Cards are going to put up points as long as its not snowing or windy.

Turners season wasnt even comparable to Williams. Full ypc lower. Hes just an above average back that led the league in carries to rack up the counting stats.

Played same team on the road strong before losing lead in 4th quarter.
Re-discovered a balanced attack and have a fresh Edge.
No one, esp media + 2+2, thinks they can even make it a game let alone win

I smell upset

Cards continue their run with a 24-20 4th quarter come from behind victory.
Go Cards

Cards can only win this game if it's a shootout with both teams scoring in the 30s.

heh that's all? anyway, the panthers' run game is considerably stronger than the falcons', and the cardinals are on the road this time.

the panthers pass d is better than the falcons and i expect their pass rush to have better results b/c they won't be able to double peppers as effectively as they did abraham. they won't shut down the cards offense unless peppers goes crazy, but i think they have more success defending it than the cardinals will defending the run

Arizona had better figure out a way to stop Carolina's running attack. The second Arizona brings it's safties up to help the run, BAM bomb to Steve Smith.

I'm in the "Cardinals are gonna get raped" camp with everyone else. But who knows, the lack of expectations could be a relief and stranger things have happened. I think most would agree that they would win 20-30% of the time so we'll see. It would be most improbable if they somehow made it to the NFC title game, and of course the Giants or Iggles would be mf'ing ecstatic about that.

Also, in the name of civic pride I am suspending my Cardinals hate for this game. Plus I genuinely like all the players; there isn't an idiot in the group and it's impossible not to like a guy like Warner. Not to mention feel bad that he's married to someone who looks like Dolph Lundgren.

Love,

Eagles fan living in Phoenix who would love to see the Eagles play in the NFC Championship should they beat the Giants. That and I seriously can't stand the Panthers.
