Every day there are videos released showing people committing criminal/irrational behavior that not only help capture the perps but also alert the public to how people who otherwise seem intelligent and reasonable may act when upset/under the influence/etc. This is preventative towards future bad incidents IMO.
Someone in the future dealing with an out-of-control family member may actually save lives based on NOT opening the door because they recall this video.
I’m amazed at how many people in the Twitter comments to this multiply-posted video seem more intent on shaming the family than being horrified that RS had gotten to that bizarre a place.
Mug shots? I can’t think of a reason these shouldn’t be public domain unless it’s for juveniles.
911 calls? Same except I’m sure there are reasons in some instances for editing before release to protect the innocent.
