I was gonna make a joke about Ike Taylor and coverage but I couldn't get over the article referring to "grizzly accusations."

That means you've been lucky enough to avoid having him on a team you care about. He's kind of a hole filler, but one where the hole is still competitive.

So I'm guessing the Saints are going to draft a WR at this point?

I wouldn't be surprised... It doesn't look like they're making much effort to retain Snead and Coleman. It's a pretty good WR class this year, though. Maybe not much in the way of top-10 guys but there should be some good pickings where the Saints select in the first or even the third round this year.

Michael Bennett's publisher (oh, if you didn't know, he has a book coming out on April 3, called Things That Make White People Uncomfortable) issues a statement in solidarity with him:

https://www.haymarketbooks.org/blogs...ichael-bennett

Quote:
Michael Bennett is being targeted for being a Black man who speaks out boldly against racism and police brutality.

The latest charges against Michael are clearly an effort by his political opponents — once again — to silence him. We will not let them succeed.

Our country has a long history of such attacks against those who work for justice, from Martin Luther King, Jr., to Muhammad Ali, to Angela Davis, among so many others.

We have also seen how athletes have been targeted over the past year, from the “blackballing” of Colin Kaepernick to the young people who have been kicked off of their teams for daring to protest during the anthem.

We are confident that the truth of the incident at the 2017 Super Bowl, fourteen months ago, will reveal that the charges against Michael – and the timing of this indictment and public attack on him — are politically motivated.

We stand in solidarity with Michael. We stand strongly behind his new book, which we are extremely proud to publish, and we applaud him for his ongoing work in solidarity with all of those who are challenging the voices of exclusion, intolerance, and racism.

The only way any of the Michael Bennett stuff makes sense is if the Houston police chief is also secretly the co-owner of Haymarket Books.

Things That Make White People Uncomfortable, Abridged Version, would be difficult to get under 10,000 pages. Hopefully he has a good editor.

It's short term and they need a TE. He's clearly talented and it's possible a change of scenery+better coaching will benefit him.

Browns sign Terrance Mitchell, is he any good? Why is he getting paid more than Gaines? The Gaines deal seems like a huge bargain in general.

Mitchell has been signed and released a bunch of times but seemed ok last season. Gaines just has injury concerns I guess, but definitely worth a flyer and get something longer term if he can stay healthy.

PFF seems to think 'ok' is stretching it
