24M seems so weak must be giving them the hometown discount. As I've said before I think his value is closer to 40M. Will be interesting to see what Rodgers signs his extension for. At some point you'd think these guys would quit signing for slightly better than Bortles/Glennon money.

Vikes gave Favre 20M+ 10 years ago. Cap has gone up 50% since then. Then you add on the rookie CBA and the available money for elite QBs should be skyrocketing.

Rumors now that Saints are interested in signing DRC.

If this is true I definitely want him on my team

Getting a second source with similar Brees news

Also saying the Saints may have a major move coming, no idea what though

To give the public an idea of what goes into a free-agent decision, Cousins has been having a video crew follow him and his family for a few weeks, recording the decision process with those close to him that will determine whether he plays in Arizona, Denver, Minnesota or New York.

If I had to guess a blockbuster nobody sees coming, it's the Giants trading OBJ. Gettleman doesn't like WR's with character and it's 0 dead money.

So, Keenum to the Broncos?

That would be ridiculous, and I'd love to have him, although it's his fifth-year option and I'm not even sure how there would be enough balls to go around. (One of those good problems, I guess.)

If it's true, hopefully we get him cheap due to it being his last year on his deal and also lolGettleman.

I thought Suh was likely because the reporter mentioned "a domino in the next 24 hours" which made me think of the Dolphins cutting him. It's been a wild offseason already though so it might be anything.

So if the Broncos are going after Keenum, does that mean they are less likely to pick a QB at 5? Or to trade up for one?

Good news Jets are the final two of the Cousins sweepstakes.

Jets are so clearly being used for leverage and will end up with blue balls.

I think it would guarantee that they won't pick one at 5. Unless the Keenum market didn't materialise at all, I'm guessing he's got a multiyear deal with plenty guaranteed.

my prediction, they pick a QB in 2nd or 3rd again to develop but Case's deal ensures he's on starter money for Broncos for 2 years minimum

ESPN reporting Suh is going to the Bills...just waiting for the Dolphins to officially release him.

Damn. Beane doing work.

**nevermind, it's from yesterday and it's just speculation so far...

Former Jaguars’ WR Allen Robinson intends to sign with the Chicago Bears barring any last-minute snags when free agency opens Wednesday, source tells ESPN.

Norwell to Jags for 5/$66.5m with $30m guaranteed, wowee. And Watkins to the Chefs with Rapaport saying $16m/year for three years, which is about what Hopkins got six months ago?!

Could be a Sherman type of deal maybe

these deals are nuts. lol watkins getting that much jfc. norwell is a nice pickup for the jags; surprised they have so much $$$ to spend on a big FA.

the watkins deal is insane if those numbers are close to the real money of the deal

dude had less than 600 yards on the highest scoring team in the league

glad we have torrey smith and graham gano instead of norwell or a real receiver!

chiefs aren't flush with cash either. this seems nuts. their O looks sick though. HUNT + Kelce + Hill + Watkins + Ware. a lot resting on Mahomes' arm.

ARob deal is supposed to be 3/$42m/$25m.

Watkins 3/$48m/$30m. Chiefs currently have -$4m cap room... will see how they make this work.

& apparently the Browns are trying to sign Nate Solder to replace Joe Thomas, but I hadn't heard that Thomas had actually made a decision on his future?

Where are you seeing Chiefs with -$4 million? I'm seeing them with $25 million in space.

Maybe you're looking at a version that doesn't account for planned moves?
They will be clearing a ton of room by trading Smith and when Johnson's contract voids (over $25 million in total).

That said, it still seems like a waste of their cap space as Watkins seems redundant with Hill (in addition to just not being that good). Much rather go for a possession receiver.

Brees 2/50.

Looks like he cares more about loyalty and helping team win than getting paid. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but he's got to be leaving at least $5-$10 million per season on the table.

How good is Keenum? I want to say he's a slightly below average starting QB who was running hot.

aren't most top QBs doing the same thing? brady takes way below his value. rodgers currently does the same. if you take too much $$$, your SB gets crushed. you'll notice when the hawks had to start paying Russ their equity has bombed (other reasons for this as well including bombing on every trade and draft pick the last few years) but it's good to have a cheap QB.

eagles spend almost nothing on QBs--14M for 2 QBs.
Brady is 10th in QB salary, 19th last year.
Ben is 7th this year.
Godgers was 6th last year.
