Who would've thought the best pro comparison for Andrew Luck might end up being Greg Cook?

I don't get this take. I mean, I get the trolling aspect, but the problem with Josh is that he sucks. If Kraft is gonna **** with us by keeping him from us...welp, you got us.

I don't really feel terrible for the assistants honestly. They got NFL deals and can still leave if they want.

The real kick in the dick is that we're basically a lock to end up with Schwartz, and if Kraft saw that coming, then /hattip

I actually think Schwartz will be a good coach but lol me

fwiw I don't think Philly does anything but keep foles, yes they're up against the cap but wentz tore ACL and LCL so they probably will wait and make sure wentz's knee isn't dead first.

It's incredible the same guy who went 1 for 14 on third down against the Raiders defense torches the Vikings defense which statistically on third down was uh, pretty great till that game and then the Pats in the SB.

67 percent of Reid’s former assistants have taken their teams to the postseason as a head coach contrast with BB's who is what one 10-6 year with the Browns as the only one?

If Reid wasn't super ridic in game decision making he'd probably be better than BB as a head coach or at least damn close.

His QB track record is just absurd.

Yeah, weird that anyone would doubt him after that performance, huh?

Pederson definitely put some stuff in the playbook that Foles would be well-suited to in the meantime. I mean I didn't exactly study his regular-season games but it sure looked like they were doing a lot more play action and RPO type stuff that I hadn't seen them do before. I could definitely be wrong; I know they did some of that stuff with Wentz but I don't think it was as much.

Bill O'Brien has made the playoffs twice with the Texans. The Browns actually didn't make the playoffs in that 10-6 season.

McDaniels refuses to sign = Luck's shoulder is dead = Colts will draft a QB = Jets will be left with either Josh Allen or Baker Mayfield = fml

Cliffs from Colts GM presser:

- He looked pissed but kept it professional
- McDaniels backet out at 7:15PM on Tuesday evening, no words about given reason
- "First choice doesn't have to be the right choice"
- Luck not throwing yet, doesnt look like he needs surgery
- Last words: "The rivalry is back on"

Tony Dungy ripped into McD and he was one of the "pastors" of his "redemption."

Matt Patricia hired Paul Pasqualoni as his DC with Lions. Seems weird. Only NFL DC experience is for 2 years 10 years ago with the Dolphins (1 year with Cowboys too apparently), & he's 68 & was most recently the defensive line coach for Boston College...

Coaching career (HC unless noted)
1972–1975 Cheshire HS (asst.)
1976–1979 S. Connecticut State (asst.)
1980–1981 S. Connecticut State (DC)
1982–1986 W. Connecticut State
1987–1990 Syracuse (LB)
1991–2004 Syracuse
2005 Dallas Cowboys (TE)
2006–2007 Dallas Cowboys (LB)
2008–2009 Miami Dolphins (DC)
2010 Dallas Cowboys (DC/DL)
2011–2013 Connecticut
2014 Chicago Bears (DL)
2015 Houston Texans (DL)
2016–2017 Boston College (DL)
2018–present Detroit Lions (DC)

If that's the best available, the new Colts coach should be thrilled to have Eberflus in place...

Colts are going to request permission to interview Frank Reich, & Leslie Frazier & Dave Toub are other candidates.

No, but apparently his agent, who also represents Colts GM Chris Ballard, told him he was probably making the biggest mistake of his life.

Why are the Colts so butt hurt about this? Maybe don't publically announce you signed someone before they sign with you? Just spitballing here.

Meh they agreed to exact contract terms and presser was set even with the time. Standard procedure to announce it at that time as it basically never happens that somebody backs out at that point... BB with the Jets comes to mind - who else?

Add Saints assistant HC/TEs coach Dan Campbell to the list of Colts candidates.

Don't the Colts have to not suck before the rivalry is back on?

By saying "back on" he acknowledges that it has been off...

It's all about Luck's health. They are not out of the picture if Luck is healthy.

Their D isn't awful once their secondary grows (top 10 rushing D DVOA, Nr. 23 passing) and possibly adds Bradley Chubb at 103.

With Luck, they are a few pieces away from being a playoff contender and they do have the Nr.3 pick and tons of cap space.

@DanGrazianoESPN
Source says agent Bob LaMonte, who represents Josh McDaniels, Colts GM Chris Ballard and many other coaches/execs, is terminating his relationship with McDaniels.
