Why didn't Jonathan Martin just stand up to this guy? He totally would've acted in a reasonable manner.

Nope. My cousin played hs football w/him and he was a huge bully back then, too.

Yeah, there's all kinds of bully accusations for him dating back to then, plus:

Quote:
A 6-foot-3, 300-pound native of Glendale, Ariz., Incognito has struggled to control his temper both on and off the field since arriving at Nebraska in 2001. After sitting out his first season as a redshirt, Incognito immediately flourished into the team's top offensive lineman despite numerous personal fouls.
His OL coach at Nebraska on him transferring to Oregon...

Quote:
"I wish him the best of luck — he's a tremendous football player, and I hope he gets himself squared away," Wagner said. "I'm sure Richie would be the first to tell you he wishes he had some moments back in his life and could change some things. He can contribute somewhere if he gets his life squared away."

That's probably why he went Incognito

I would not be at all surprised if Incognito killed himself or OD'd in the next 12 months. He seems super unstable.

On a more lighthearted note, Baker Mayfield is winning the internet today

DJ Moore (panthers 1st rounder) got clocked at 113 mph.

In a work zone.

on a 65 mph highway.

and for the record, Oregon HC Mike Bellotti kicked him off the team after only a week.

Quote:
In late September, he transferred to the University of Oregon, only to be dismissed from the team a week later. Head coach Mike Bellotti said Incognito failed to meet the conditions he had agreed to meet before his arrival in Eugene. Bellotti didn't elaborate, but Incognito had been required to complete an anger-management course and adhere to a strict code of conduct.

I take it you’ve never been to Texas. We have a toll road where the speed limit is 85 (so obv everyone goes 100+), and 75 is extremely common if you’re not in a city.

Sean Mannion is like the only backup to Goff. Rams have close to 0 equity if Goff gets hurt.

That’s true of most contenders and their starting QB though the Rams seem better situated than most with the run game and defense

"Fines are doubled"

Apparently the speeds are as well.

Jimmy Smith suspended 4 games.

You can still find a backup that isn't totally hopeless as to your teams chances. Nope, Tom Savage, Sean Mannion, whoever the **** else some of these teams employ.

Let me put it another way, the New York Jets third stringer is better than a lot of the teams backups.

Or another way, if the backup on the Browns is clearly better...

Or the Bill oh well maybe another day for that one.

anyway, as much fun as it'd be to watch, Lamar Jackson clearly just isn't ready yet.

Helmet rule seems okay in spirit but the fact that the NFL refs are terrible is gonna make it a disaster imo. I mean look at this

I love how the NFL thinks you can somehow be in a tackling position but not have your head be sticking out above your shoulders.

New rule is gonna be a disaster.

Just seems like an easier way to rig games.

On Hard Knocks, Alonzo Highsmith sees a lot of similarities between the Browns and the 1-15 Cowboys with Jimmy Johnson.
