The Browns, even if they did sign Rodgers to some insane extension, would still have a ton of cap space and would be a premium destination for free agents.
Yeah he's good. Very good. Do you think the pack are favorites over the Eagles, Vikings, Rams, as currently constructed? Yes they have a chance to win against everyone of those teams, just because of Arod. He's played basically his whole career in a similar situation.
My point was simply that the browns have a chance to build a roster like those teams if they don't spend all their draft capital on an aging QB, as good as he may be. Trust the process. If they hit on a QB the sky is limit, but they will likely be very good even with a TT level QB so long as they hit on a few of their draft picks in the next few years.
As a bears fan I would love to see him leave GB.
