im a steelers homer and was arguing with my buddy who's a bengals homer about Bell contracts, and i was like i'm sure the steelers offered him something like a Jarvis Landry deal and he wants Antonio Brown money, and he was saying you have to give him more than Landry because you obviously would sign bell over landry to the same contract if you could. which i do have to agree with.

it seems ridiculous to turn down 5/70 to just get another year older when you havent ever played a full season and trying to get another deal next year. hope it works out for him, but it just doesn't seem smart to turn down TWICE as much as the next highest person at your position, in a sport where you're only predicted to have another 3 years of high level play left.

Pretty sure this won't fly under the current CBA and I think I read they're already walking it back.
