The problem you run into is other than non game situations it's going to be tough to figure out which is the best for your team and it's going to be tough to keep all 4 when the season starts. It doesn't seem like the worst idea but I'm not sure about any guy after Lamar. With that being said, I'm not sure the gap between the other "top tier" QBs, Lamar and the rest is that large. I think it's tough to QB in Buffalo though--mainly due to the weather. I'm not sure how that fits into all the functions of picking QBs in the draft.

Unless you can flip those guys it's going to be rough for the FO--and the fact that you want to dump them means you're likely going to get less than their draft value. The problem with the NFL it's a very short term league so I'm not sure your coach can gamble that hard when they just made the playoffs last season.

Giants have lost 2 starting linemen (Pugh, Richburg) and 2 reserve linemen (Fluker, Hart). They've added one via free agency (Solder).

They're gonna move Flowers to right tackle (ugh) and Brett Jones will step in at center (meh). John Jerry will stay at guard (also meh). Solder of course has the blindside and the Giants need a guard. If they opt not to go with a QB, they might trade down and take Quenton Nelson.

Regardless, Giants better get a guard in the 2nd/3rd round. Their O-line isn't shaping up to be much better than last season which won't help an aging Eli and whoever they draft later on.

Vikes are locked into Kirk for 3 years 84M. If Skins wanted to cut Smith after 3 years (and prior to his age 36 season), he would end up costing them 84M for 3 years (but the cap spread over 4 years - with the last 13.5M of it coming when he's no longer on the roster).

Smith deal is cheaper and gives Skins upside if he stays good into his mid/late 30s. But if they end up wanting to move on after 3 years which seems fairly likely they'll end up paying the exact amount.
