Browns flipping Osweiler for more picks would be amazing.

Baltimore let Dilfer walk, to be a backup for Seattle, so they could sign Elvis Grabac.

Not a trade tho.

But that Kenny Britt contract. After drafting 4 WR and stiffing Pryor, who is both better and younger.

Pryor is only 9 months younger than Britt.

& their seasons last year were quite similar:

Britt 68/1,002/5
Pryor 77/1,007/4

& both played in similarly dumpster-firey situations.

But yeah, I'd rather give that contract to Pryor than Britt.

I think Butler re-signing long-term is out of the question now, but could see him maybe signing a 2yr 20-22m extension or something like that.

Basically the same as if Pats tender+tag him but spread more evenly. He might rather do that than gamble on himself in 2017. Hasn't made much $ in his career.

Panthers are low key the embarrassment of the league though. They've never done anything remotely intriguing in free agency. They've actually just **** the bed time and time again in the offeseason. Burn them to the ground and fire everyone

Another offseason where the broncos lose out on a QB to the texans. Probably will backfire on lol hou again. Den signs osweiler for the lols.

Panthers do seem to be absolutely awful at the offseason. Never address positions of need, let best players walk and inexplicably hand out a huge contract to an old rb. Every year.

There was that one time Reggie White randomly came back for them.

Sure will be awkward when Houston ships romo and a 2nd for nothing a year from now

reports out there chargers tampered with okung

Seems like an accidental **** up, since he wasn't supposed to be talked to till FA started, not during the other not legal but allowed tampering window. Still they're gonna lose a pick for it and since it's not my team, THROW THE BOOK AT THEM ROG.

Also would be mega lols to get caught tampering with a tackle who allowed the 2nd most pressures all year, you know who #1 is, for a hint--just stop and smell the roses.

As an addendum, since it's never happened before I'm not totally sure how it works but it's definitely less money/risk for other teams. We'll see if Cle can get another pick out of it, also there's offset language so if osweiler is released and signs for $X M, then it's only costing Cle 16-X.

Still I'm not sure what a 2nd rounder is worth in a vacuum, think it's a bit less than this but obviously Cle has some sunk cost anyway value.

Barkevious Mingo to Colts for 1/$2.5m. Thought he'd get more somewhere.

Apparently the Saints are probably going to trade Cooks today to either the Patriots or Titans.

Browns still trying to trade for Garoppolo. I hear they have an extra 2018 2nd.

Thoughts on Gilmore?

PFF grade is mediocre but improved 2nd half of the season.

I remember when Rex went there, he compared him to Revis and I think some of his lackluster play has to do with the fact that he tried to use him like Revis. A lot of 1 on 1 covg to allow for all of those blitzes.

Belichick must think he is cut and dry superior to Butler to pay him like that. Especially for a guy who was in the system vs a guy coming in from FA.

last report on that was patriots won't do it without #1 overall and the browns won't budge.

You are correct, Buf played gilmore as if he was revis island this year. Only a few can handle that, he's still a good man corner tho. Man, not zone.
