Great job, everyone. The fact that he felt the need to send his new tat to his OC is weird/funny/creepy as hell. He trusted his coaches and wanted to show off for them. Like a cat dropping a mouse at your foot.

PS. This guy is numero uno in terms of throwing away NFL money, per the previous debate. It's not even close. Like 40M?

Aldon Smith threw a way a TON of money with all his dumb **** he did off the field. Probably would have gotten JJ Watt/Miller type money. Instead he got 11M over 2 instead of 100 over 6 years with 50M guaranteed; Von got 6 years 114, 70 M guaranteed. Von/JJ probably going to make 150M-200M over their careers, Aldon probably 50...obviously not bad but Aldon really is dumb.

I mean you can't just project his behavior to now and keep it the exact same. Chances are he would have handlers and such telling him "Don't be an assclown and make 1/4th of a billion over the next 10 years instead."

There is a reason that no WR's are doing coke and hitting strip clubs at the rate of Michael Irvin anymore. It's just a different time. 1991 Favre wouldn't be the same person as 2016 Favre.

Guys aren't taking cig breaks at halftime anymore either.

JFF has been in FULL CRACKHEAD mode since ... college?

Favre stop trying because Glanville hated him from day 1 and made him the 3rd string QB

NO DIFFERENCE

Both came into work drunk at least once but whatever. You didn't hear a lot of **** Favre did back then b/c the media isn't what it is today. Maybe he's not a crackhead but the narrative it's Glanville's fault is bull****. Favre clearly wasn't prepared to be a professional. He still wasn't in GB for awhile. He got way more time to grow out of it than JFF ever could've hoped for in this era.

Also, in the bears owners are scumbags

Why am I fan of this team? Just because that's who was on TV when I watched football as a kid whyyyyy.

Yeah gonna need a citation on that one. Didn't Manziel get arrested before even starting a college game? Getting kicked out of a party, oversleeping at Passing Academy, throwing a water bottle at a guy, rehab, fighting his girlfriend in his car, partying then lying about it until video came out, in Vegas day before last game of the season, not reporting to team doctor, assaulting his girlfriend again, failing a drug test and being suspended without a team.

What had Favre done that compares to that?

fair point but colleges and pro teams back then covered up far more than they do today. (points at pedo state as example) so we will never know.

anyway
LaDainian Tomlinson, Terrell Davis, Kurt Warner, Morten Andersen & Jason Taylor make up 2017 class of the Pro FB Hall of Fame.

A little light for me, but if anyone says the GOAT returner shouldn't get in now they can GTFO.

Is @Seahawks feeding me some alternative facts, or didn't Kenny Easley get in, too?

Easley and Jerry Jones are the throwins. Look tweets aren't that long okay.

Never thought TD was a HOF type of guy but worse RB's are in so whatever.

Kurt Warner is such a nice guy that nobody mentions that he got cut by the Rams and was basically irrelevant from 2002-2007. No other QB going to the HOF just had 5 years of nothing in the middle of their career.

Had 5 good years out of 11.

The only 2 teams in his career that he had success on had Faulk/Bruce/Holt and Boldin/Fitzgerald.

Being a nice guy goes a long way when it comes to football HOF voting

Warner played till 38, but doesn't have the seasons. Maybe 6 or 7? (since he had 5 years of not much at all) I guess they're putting in guys with strong short peaks.

Andersen isn't either but nath would strangle me so moving on...

It's still ridic that character matters more than actual ability. Also being in the media while the media votes is ridiculous. Media voting needs to die, wayyyy too much in all sports "how nice was this guy to me" when it should only be about on field performance.

Obv TO is a HOF'er, but he might never get in.

Thought taylor was borderline at least this year but his comps on the stat sheet are all in except peppers who will be.

Bdawk/Boselli better players, should've gotten in.

Now that lynch is a GM, obv he's getting in next year over bdawk which people should really be arrested for.

Forgot the upcoming classes, there's a monster logjam in 3 or 4 seasons from now right?

TO will get in, his #'s are just too good.

They are just making him wait his turn like they did to Irvin.

RB is obviously entirely based on circumstance and team situation. Always thought Corey Dillon's situation his first 7 years in Cincy was so bad that people would atleast look at it and he had a shot to get in. Especially after his year with NE in '04, but guess he isn't getting in.

Law probably isn't getting in because guys like Champ, Woodson will be eligible soon then Revis/Sherman and only so many CB's get in.

Warner was probably an all time top 3 playoff QB. He was always getting in even if he wasn't a nice guy.
