I'm just in awe at how many posts are being used talking about the buffalo bills.

They could literally pay a king’s ransom to finally address the franchise quarterback position, and still have a normal draft. That, in itself, is worth its weight in gold to the Bills and their desire to build for both the short and long-term.

Shady is 29 years old and has a ton of mileage on him. Would be smart to unload him as well at this point. They have a few promising young players + decent amount of picks in next years draft. They might as well go full rebuild at this point.

As already pointed out, they use the TE and RB a lot in the pass game. It's at least an uncomfortably warm take.

should trade shady to the cowboys for picks and young guys on defense. jerry jones would probably do something really stupid right now to assure the suspension of zeke does lead to a slow start.

Olds on expiring deals:
C Eric Wood, 31
DT Kyle Williams, 34
WR Anquan Boldin, 36 (oops)

Also have 34 y/o's Lorenzo Alexander & Richie Incognito with 2 years left. Moving on from Shady would cost about $8m dead cap because they did that thing that I told them not to where they gave him guaranteed $ for no reason.

Doubt Jerry isn't narcissistic enough to think he can make Goodell back down.

Yeah, Kirk Cousins (?) + Matthews isn't enough of an upgrade over Tyrod + Watkins, assuming that the mega contracts cancel each other out.

The context was referring to draft picks to trade up for 1st pick...like they have so many picks now they could LITERALLY pay a King's Ransom (however much that is) & still have a normal draft.

You'd think Watkins would have more trade value if they had picked up the 5th year option.

I don't see a downside to these trades. The Bills were projected to be a 6-7 win team, at best. Could they do better? sure.

But they were not signing Watkins after this season, especially if he broke out and had a great season. So they lose him to FA after this season. Instead, they get a middling CB and a 2nd round pick for him. Seems like a win to me.

Darby is not a fit for this defense. He's a man corner. And he really regressed last year.

Mathews is a reliable WR...sure, he's another slot guy - so what? Doesn't seem to hurt the Pats not to have a true burner on the outside. Oh, and we get a 3rd round pick, as well.

Bean and MCoach have a plan to make this team a long-term winner. I really like what they're doing.

If this is true, it's pretty damn shady... no? Oh, it's fine. The lead investigator on the Zeke case for the NFL just happens to be a rabid, paint your entire living room blue and red, kind of Giants fan... LULZ... Nothing to see here, folks.

Sucks for Tyrod. Him and Watkins played pretty well together when Watkins wasn't actually hurt. Watkins seems to be healthy and in a contract year as well.

Now he's got arguably the worst receivers in the league to throw to.
