Can't just lose Kevin Minter and DJ Swearinger and expect consistency in prime time love.

It's not like AZ has anywhere near KC-level glamor.

You shut your whore mouth. Barring catching lightning in a bottle in the draft, him staying healthy is our only chance at making some noise this year.

I could see their last game of the year vs the Seahawks deciding the division. Or maybe I'm just being overly optimistic.

Pats have an interesting stretch where they play 5 of 6 games on the road....

Not quite as dangerous as it looks as they'll be coming off a bye to face Denver and the @Raiders is in Mexico City the week after.

Cowboys schedule looks really tough. I'll be selling anything more than 9-7

Saints are apparently closing in on a deal with Adrian Peterson, which will probably go down as the dumbest signing of the offseason

it's a tough stretch no doubt, and 5/6 on the road is, even if it's clown teams (and this stretch has some tough teams)

but of course there is a flip side to that coin.

what really matters is how hard the season schedule is (for the Pats, not very imo) but yeah that particular stretch is the toughest part for them

He's highly boom-or-bust as a runner; he's 32, coming off injury, and averaged 2 YPC last year (all indicators that the "boom" might be gone); and he has no value in the passing game.

This is what happens when your 90-year-old owner gives a guy carte blanche to run two different teams, and tries to win now every single year by overpaying veteran free agents

it's sort of a YOLO move but for short money it seems, so eh? doesn't seem so bad.

Saints don't need any more offense except maybe someone to replace Cooks and they are probably good on that.

yeah fair argument the money is better is spent on defense.

I just don't really see the upside. Would much rather devote those resources to a receiving back. Aside from everything I said above, if they do sign him as a change of pace from Ingram, that means defenses are gonna know he's getting the ball any time he's in the game. So that's even worse for him than I initially suggested, unless the plan is to use him to try to break off long carries against 8-man fronts. That seems like a stupid plan to me.

They have a deal done with butler but it seems like there's not gonna be a trade.

Maybe they fear Ingram wearing down quickly and are planning a committee with ADP.
