Patriots to host Chiefs to open 2017 season

It's lame not to have a Patriots-Falcons rematch on opening day.

I've read that the Panthers complained about playing the Broncos last year and that influenced this year's decision.

I'm hoping the Patriots lose in court and have to pay but appeal it. Then a meteor takes out the Patriots HQ and thus don't have to pay on a technicality.

I read that the felony weapons conviction wouldn't be vacated because he hadn't appealed it.

the issue is whether or not Hernandez signed a contract under false pretenses, and it's pretty clear he did. Pats most likely to get a cap credit bc Hernandez lied to them.

Yup. Read through the language (a bit) & it seems like the gun charge alone should be enough for them to recoup the ~$3.25m signing bonus from their cap.

Not really feeling the Cardinals schedule. 6 road games starting at 10 or 11 AZ time. Rams and 49ers each have 5 such games. Seahawks have 1. Seems legit.

in general I agree with the idea that who your opponents are is 80% of what matters in a schedule, and all the stuff about stretches and when you play whom is overrated.

though 6 vs 1 is pretty funny.

I guess you'll just have to be better this year so you got more late season SNF games
