Never mind how it's been proven that the Falcons offense is clearly superior to the Steelers in every measurable way,

QED, *drops mic,* see you in Houston
Can you name some names? This thread has only been in existence for 4 days.

I'll take the Freeman/Coleman backfield tandem over Bell/Williams

I think it's the FALCONS
...and hilarity ensued.

To be fair though, I'm only cherry-picking these comments now that the Falcons have vindicated me.

After the Vick stuff went down in 2008 or whenever, I said Matt Ryan was "a mediocre ACC quarterback from a loser program," "sure to be a bust," and that I wanted "to hand the keys of the franchise to [UGA product] DJ Shockley," who is now calling high school football games on local Atlanta network TV.

So I don't always get it right.

But I think the STATS and the HARDWARE are going to show me right on this one.

Michael Bennett just as nuts as his brother. Tough loss so yeah he's emotional but then he went into this on a reporter today.

Get out of my face now. Don’t tell me I didn’t do my job (expletive). OK, exactly. Get the (expletive) out of my face. Like I said, get out of my face. Don’t play with me. Don’t play with me. I just put my heart on the (expletive) field. Don’t (expletive) play with me. Get the (expletive) out of my face then. Try me again, see what happens. I ain’t one of these (expletive) out here. Don’t try to tell me what I didn’t do (expletive).”

and the best part
During the tirade, Bennett also asked Wixey, “what adversity you went through?”

Wixey was treated for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2009.

I mean, Leveon is very clearly better than either Falcon RB and Antonio>Julio. But ya, Falcon OL and Matt Ryan were underrated for sure.

I had a quick look through QBR figures for the past 8 years the other day, looking for the closest similarity to Kirk Cousins (because I'm like that) and guess what.....?

it's Matthew Ice.

With the exception of two outlying years....this year and (I think) Matty's second year, young Matthew's QBR is exactly the same as the two years of Captain Kirk's.

Now maybe Kirk doesn't have the outlying good years in him (although I think he might), but given nobody (that I'vee heard) thinks Falcons shouldn't have paid Matthew, the Captain is getting paid for sure and Skins are right to do so

Bell is ridic, he stops and waits for the hole to open or simply wait for a bigger one. Like you really shouldn't be doing that as a NFL RB, because holes tend to close fast but nope, he'll literally stop, then burst through the hole--must be nice to trust his OL. Todd Gurley on the other hand can't do this b/c there's never a hole.

Figuring out a real QB stat that you could rank that isn't AIDS is gonna be very tough to figure out. Any ideas?

The point: everyone was extremely wrong about PIT offense >>>>>>>>>> ATL offense. They're basically the same; ATL might be a smidge better.

Random unsupported prediction: Leveon Bell is not one of the top running backs in the league 2 years from now because teams will adjust to his hopping and hole-seeking

Because they certainly adjusted over the last two seasons
