The NFL MVP is a defensive player for the first time in 32 years and third time ever. Specifically Aaron Donald.

Insight: in reading current NFL writers thinking, he's universally acknowledged as the best defensive player in the league, and is receiving extra hype as a result of his contract dispute. The Rams are likely to be an excellent team, and the offense will split credit between Gurley and Goff.

I think this is more in play than people think. If I remember their schedule correctly it's a complete change from last year's. Plenty of tough games and if Bortles goes full pumpkin watch out. Ramsey didn't help their cause either by trying too hard in that GQ article.
