I'm no NFL strategy genius but I don't understand what the Bills are doing

Why didn't they go for 2p after Davis' TD knowing that they would have two quarters to play against the wind and one into the wind left?

Now that they got the gift from the refs and had a 1st & 18 or whatever that was, why not go run / run / run / run for 2.5ish each and try to get the damn TD? Now they might not get the ball back running into the wind for the rest of the game and they are down that 1 point... which really isn't at all different to being down 2 points.

Bills are so inconsistent...can't stop the run or run the ball...hard to win when that's the case. They need everything to go right for them to do well...so, GG NE. They deserve it.
