Patriots vaunted o-line not doing Mac favors. He has been feeling the heat and getting popped regularly. Young bones and toughness.

Mac Jones is looking a lot better than he really is because most people don't watch the games and don't see each play and how he's managed. Bill is smartly keeping it to easy short passes to help prevent ints and sacks. Honestly, for a rookie it's the better approach. I see Trevor and Zach airing it out much more and consequently throwing more ints.

Fune fact: The starting QB with the lowest yards/attempt

Spoiler:
You know who

"Mac Jones is looking a lot better than he really is"

seems like that has been happening every game he has played ever. Best college qb ever, best preseason qb ever...first 2 games...no picks, taking what they are giving him.

idk how good "he really is". Drew Brees had a weak arm and was short until he wasnt. This guy is a legit 6'2 3/4''. He has enough zip. So, yes, immobile. If he had abs and was a half an inch taller so we could say 6'4'' with abs...but the same game...he would be thought of better.

I dont think he is perfect with the accuracy. I watched Kurt Warner's analysis of him. The good and the bad. I see the bad still in some things he does. But I sense Mac might be off the charts with his Mind. Can correct things.

@5min we dont get it nobody gets it, followed by really nice manipulation of defense.

@9min...similar mistake imo as vs dolphins on crucial 3rd down.

Here is the bad pass I alluded to above that "cost him the game" as he says...at 21:20. Mac has shown the "drop it in the bucket" pass (right before the 21:20) a few times. He has that down.

Carolina Panthers QB Sam Darnold has more wins this year, (3) than all of last year with the Jets (2).

Nothing personal, I just really hope Lamar dies

I can't see Mac being anymore than avg at best but also never really pretended to be much of a QB evaluator, just think the league is going in a different direction as far as mobile QB's with strong arms.

Defenders are barely allowed to touch these guys now, just get someone who can run as well as pass, it is a free lunch that wasn't as avail in previous eras.

yeah ok, but giants qb d jones...he can run. he can pass. Darnold. He has all the throws. What does Drew Brees and Tom Brady have that they dont have? Mac Jones has that imo. The world of Form arises from the mind of the well concentrated combined with the mindful. Focus and awareness. This calm aura influences others. I dont pretend to know this **** either but it seems nobody does. Herbert is a no brainer yet they were telling me clear number 3 that year. Nobody knows.

even with brady after a half a century...people are still... he is kinda meh

Wait, is Lamar unvaxxed? I may need to make a fantasy trade as I refuse to have an unvaxxed player on my team.

I think pope is right about why he hasn’t been vaxxed.

Does the NFL treat players who have had covid but not the vax as vaxxed or not vaxxed with their rules that treat the 2 groups different? It would be logical to treat the natural immunity group as if they are vaxxed, but I haven’t heard if that was addressed.

Someone asked Fauci about it last week but I haven’t seen an update since he said he had ‘no firm answer’.

Seems kinda important.

CDC recommends even people who've had Covid to get vaccinated - data coming in says vaccine gives more protection than contracting the actual virus.

Interesting. I know a month or so ago reports were saying natural immunity last longer and was stronger. I hadn’t heard they reversed that.

Either way, it seems like they are close enough to the same that the NFL should treat a natural immunity player the same as vaxxed one until the science says the vaccine is significantly better for an insanely healthy 25ish year old professional athlete.

Not necessarily disagreeing with your POV on what should happen moving forward but there’s a big difference between fitness and health. A lot of NFL players and a lot of the stuff they do, is not healthy

It's not apples to apples as someone who had it previously and survived is more likely to survive again even if all their antibodies and t cells have disappeared from having it previously than someone who never had it at all. I have heard of antibodies and tcells lasting longer in those who got the mRNA as well as the vaxx being more effective against variants than prior infection in terms of reinfection.

From that article:

Quote:
The NFL initially was preparing to suspend Collins five games for his actions, but the NFL Players Association -- aware of the intended five-game suspension -- helped negotiate a reduction to what would have been a two-game ban.

Collins, however, appealed the suspension, and the appeal was heard by an arbitrator appointed jointly by the league and the NFLPA. The arbitrator not only rejected Collins' appeal but also ruled that, based on the evidence, the suspension should be increased back to the original five games.
lol indeed.

Seems like a two-day suspension for attempted bribery and a three-day suspension for aggravated stupidity--running consecutively.

LOL

Jerruh seems to draft by the dumbest player available approach.
