They're a half year removed from almost making the Superbowl and were the #1 seed last year. I might not follow their personnel changes very closely but I think it is more likely we look back at week 1 and point at the Saints blowout as a game on the Packers resume and say "how did that happen?"

Offense is electric, I will happily bet the Cowboys all season long. And they did play to their strengths, because they weren't going to beat the Bucs on the ground. But I docked a few points for McCarthy and their D. They're going to have to win some shootouts.

Yeah seems bang on, that has to be one of the clearest 6 to pick for that bet in recent years.

I'm going to give them some slack after one game given all their changes. New head coach, with a new 2-TE offense, switched to the 3-4 defense with a new DC. Also, one bright spot for a team that was awful last year was they did rush the ball decently (26/125). Of course I don't expect a bounce back game in Tampa.

I wouldn’t call the Rams elite until they beat a team better than one considered ‘actually bad’ plus do it on the road

Stafford is a pretty big upgrade and that’s the most important position but that defense looked uninspired for a good part of the game and the O-line well we’ll see.
