That is because it is not obviously apparent what the leaker was trying to accomplish. It may take another leak or two.

Never forget:
32. Chargers Special Teams

But I am trying to crawl onto the Chargers' bandwagon.

Surely Snyder is the main target?

I remember OJ’s record season. And Miami’s 2 Super Bowls. I’ve only been to Buffalo to see a game twice in my life. Did go to the first Bills-Cowboys Super Bowl in Pasadena.

That was fun. 🙄

The NFL

They announced they closed the WFT investigation Friday saying "nothing to see here."

Pretty obvious, it was done because they needed some fall guy and Goddell hates Gruden

Here's a pretty good story on the timeline and how events transpired and how it benefitted the NFL.

Nah, I'm sure Gruden was the only coach/NFL media person that disparaged female refs and made homophobic comments in emails. I for one am glad they found that scalliwag.

Imagine the collusion teams could do if that wasn't the case. Especially for like kickers or punters.

4. Arizona

Cleveland had a lot of injuries. We'll see if Arizona can make it through a trap game vs Houston and a short week vs Green Bay before we can put them in the elite group.

We'll see! Cards might just make it there.

In other news, 10. Cowboys seemed about right.

Maybe the Pats are sneaky competitive.

EDIT: Oh wow I just ate both of those sentences in one play.

didn't get to watch the 1. Chargers play the Ravens, but reading the tea leaves and watching some highlights it appears Wink had a solid scheme and 4th and Staley finally found the other side of variance.
208 total yards, 26 yds rushing on only 12 carries, 3-12 3rd down, 1-4 4th down.
solid defensive effort coming off a Monday night game.

Ravens D had their best game of the year. Mike Williams was obviously not healthy and barely played after his 25 yard catch to set up their only TD.

Some of the calls on fourth-down were a bit bizarre but the Ravens also didn't do much with those short fields, a couple field goals really was all it amounted to.

Solid win for the Ravens but I think it was just a very very negative swing on the week-to-week variance of the NFL for the Chargers.

Only other thing was, Lamar just looked... really good. Very composed, passes were essentially perfect aside from staring down Bateman on his pick and threw it right into the linebacker he didn't see.

thanks bebe. guessing 1. Chargers are still somewhere around a top 12 team in your rankings but have a lot of work to do.

They curb-stomped the Rams in LA, are third in both points scored & points allowed and have an avg. margin of victory of two TDs.

They should be 1 until performance indicates otherwise.

10 INTs in a season has been achieved 6 times in the 2000s.

11 or more hasn't been achieved since 1981 when INTs were way more common than they are today.

the all time single season record is Night Train Lane who got 14 in 1952...his rookie season in 12 games!

Treyvon Diggs has 7 after 6 games.

Huh, lol, no. I mean unless the Bills dominate the Titans tonight, I’d have to put Arizona in first. Definitely no. 2.
