Against the Bengals they played absolutely terrible on offense and gave Burrow 1 if not 2 short fields that I remember, one off a turnover. they still kind of hung in it.

Against the Packers they blocked a fg and returned it for a touchdown which was later called back for an offside penalty(it wasn't offsides)

Ben also made some really questionable throws on 4th down attempts in both games. Either way, it's a new offensive coordinator and the whole line is basically new. I'm not going to argue their offense will become elite but it cannot get any worse and they have some pieces on it where it could be average to decent over time. If you want to argue Ben is washed up fine too, they have decent backups in the wing. Rudolph isn't terrible and Haskins actually looked quite decent in preseason and was definitely a steal to pick him up at the price the Steelers got him with huge potential upside.

the Bengals had at least a 90%+ WP throughout the final 20 minutes of the game. PIT's Total DVOA was -73.6% (the second worse of all teams in week 3 ... CHI was -102.4 at CLE).

I think they can handle Keenum and a bunch of scrubs, within 3 anyway. Browns defense way overhyped.

Rumours of Watson to Dolphins have now turned into some kind of weird three way (my favourite kind!) where Tua ends up in Washington

Watson to Phins picking up steam

I have a question about Rodgers, what happens with him after the year? He can just straight be a FA like Brady in 2020 or are the Packers working with him on a trade?

When he told the Bears fans that he owned that team, I was thinking to myself "yeah you do, you own the whole division because it sucks so ya might wanna stay put" as Denver/Pitt may have more overall talent than GB but much tougher roads to a #1 seed

Both Smith Bros. are likely gone next year (Z for sure). So if they lose the Smith Bros. and Davante and have to sign an entire group of WRs it looks like at least a partial rebuild rather than Win Now situation. The options are to trade Rodgers after this season and basically keep the rest of the team intact (assuming Davante would re-sign with no Rodgers), or extend him ~4 years and cut Love, while losing Z. Smith and probably Davante.

Cobb is signed next year and can get cut to save $8m, would be hilarious if Rodgers is still there and they cut his buddy again. If Rodgers leaves then Cobb is cut the next day.
