will be happy with simply getting a decent fee for berge, cutting losses with mcburnie, then bringing in a CM (ideally attacking) and striker

What’s the alternative for Madrid now…Tchouameni and Salah maybe? Mbappe would have been perfect obv. They really need another goal scorer because things seem to go to **** when Benz doesn’t play.

cant be worse than gollini was. experienced gk on a free + hg is pretty much always a great deal. expecting forster to play 3-10 games/season.

I would not hate it if we'd reunited Berge with Ramsdale tbh. Is he still decent like he was in the PL or a shadow of himself?

We are interested in KdB's little brother Zinchenko. Jesus seems to want more money now that he would need to touch down in Quardabag for EL games - which is totally understandable.

Yet to see other links which makes it seem like we are going to be ManC's dumping ground. A small step up from taking the geriatrics from Chelsea.

Its hard to blame Mbappe. Can you imagine being offered a 100m eur signing bonus and another 200m throughout a few years.

You have your friends / family / everyone set forever. + you can sign a new contract after that. Snapcalling that seems like the easy way.

You also get to live rent free in Madrid fans' head. Not sure who the last player that hurt them this much was, but he is the only one who did it without wearing the shirt for a second.

He was supposedly getting a 100m euro signing bonus with Madrid as well, though, and a yearly salary of something like 25m net, and his next contract would likely be even bigger.

The financial difference between the two deals isn't about whether family, friends, and everyone will be set forever or not, but rather how large of a private jet he'll be flying for the rest of his life.
