For the third time in four weeks, we have an individual-related reveal. But for the second straight week, our reveal is special teams-related.

Those that strike the ball with their feet have been taking it on the chin this year. The league-wide FG % is 84.4%. Several Week 1 starters have been replaced, either due to injury, or failing at their job. Such is life as an NFL kicker that the guy Brett Maher replaced in Dallas is a correct answer tonight. And somebody still picked him!

Your pick not only had to try a 50-yard FG, he had to make it. So join me as we discover which pickers split the uprights, which kickers couldn't hold onto their jobs, and which liquors will get you through an incorrect.

Tonight, I have my third straight correct answer.

My pick's lone FG miss on the year came in Week 2 at Jacksonville, when he badly missed a 54-yard attempt. He finally got another chance from 50 during the fourth quarter of Week 6's wild 43-40 Sunday night game.

He made no mistake this time, and became a correct answer.

JMurder3 can verify that my Week 7 choice was New England K Stephen Gostkowski.

This question's worst answer was taken by mdot20.

In August, this incumbent Minnesota kicker lost his job to Daniel Carlson (Carlson himself is also an incorrect a bit later). Despite several veteran kickers returning in 2018, this UCLA Bruin hasn't played yet this year.

Just give it time, I suppose. Someone will come calling. mdot20 missed with.....

After having a potential game-winner blocked in Week 1, this kicker missed 4 kicks in Week 2. Including a 52-yarder that would have sent the game to OT. He was waived the next day.

After making 4 kicks in Week 1, this Auburn Tiger missed 3 FG attempts in Week 2's tie game, including a pair in overtime. He was waived the following day, going 0-for-0 from 50+.

Earlier today, he was signed by Oakland, as they released Matt McCrane.
