the biggest reason Leinart will have difficulty signing somewhere is because he wants a chance to start. nobody wants to give him a chance to start. he couldn't beat out Derek ****ing Anderson.

(unless all the "chance to start" stuff was a smokescreen designed to push him out of Arizona, but i don't think he's that clever.)
09-04-2010 , 03:16 PM
****, bears should give him a chance to start. CUTLAHHHHH imo
09-04-2010 , 03:31 PM
awesome, let's get into a Losman v. Leinart debate.

I was just saying Leinart's arm sucks, which it does.

Yeah I can't see a team giving an unproven QB a chance to learn a new system in one week. Welcome to the CFL, Matt.

"lol McDaniels" is the biggest headline from that trade.

Leinart could probably start for Buffalol next week.

Also Skins cut "Fast" Willie Parker. God what the hell happened to that guy? Shortest peak ever?

giving up on smith already seems bizarre

this is the guy they traded a 2010 first rounder to move up in the 2009 2nd round to pick.

earlier this yr, the broncos traded their te, tony scheffler along with a 7th rounder, to the lions for a 5th round pick.

so they traded a first round pick for a te not good enough to play for the lions and a 5th round pick.

Vikings released Javon Walker, leaving only 4 WR's on the roster with Rice on the PUP.

Housh coming here?
09-04-2010 , 05:08 PM
do we know that mcdaniels is calling the shots on these moves, who is the gm?

edit: rather, do we know he is the person pushing these deals. obv the management has final say

or vjax?

housh seems to have the same role as harvin. still, they both have enough talent to make it a nice upgrade imo.

I'd prefer Vjax obv, but Housh's contract will be smaller since he is a FA, and we don't have to give up players and draft picks in a trade.

Tulane could use Losman and Forte back this year.

PHB,
FWP was never good.

Vikes allegedly sign Housh.

I admit I'm a Leinart fanboy, but he's (probably) a fine NFL backup. The way the media talks about him, you'd never guess he went 22-for-28 with a 6.25 YPA this preseason, and his career stats aren't terrible either. He's turned into Captain Checkdown, but there are far worse backup options out there.
09-04-2010 , 06:16 PM
i predict he's gonna end up starting for seattle at some point this season. carroll obv has a hard on for his ex players.
09-04-2010 , 06:19 PM
I hope so. Leinart throwing to Mike Williams is a thing of beauty.

09-04-2010 , 06:25 PM
yeah i hope so too.

Well, Seattle is probably going to be a disaster anyway, so who cares?

I thought Housh and Harvin were very different. Isn't Housh literally just a possession receiver who grabs like 7 yard passes and gains virtually no YAC? While Harvin is much more explosive and streches the field and will have more boom/bust games?

It's been a while since I took a course in Houshmandzadology though.
