Honestly love the call to fake it there. Feels similar to WV faking the punt against UGA in the Sugar Bowl to win the game.

There's like 3 minutes left and the game is tied. If you punt, you have to stop them from scoring, then win in overtime. Feels like you're 20-25% to win.

If you convert, you're extremely likely to win.

Of course there are second and third order things that can happen (you can punt, force them to go 3 and out and win, or you can force them to go 3 and out if you fake the punt and fail, etc. etc.) but it feels like a well designed fake should work often enough to make it the right call.

Really don’t think most ppl hate UGA because of one game. Most ppl’s lives go on and don’t care about the game anymore because they have no affiliation to either team.

UGA blocked a punt which was 50 yards of field position and they incorrectly called Tyler Simmons offside. Still though. UGA has choked away a natty and an SEC championship and it sucks.

As far as SEC teams go, Georgia is the least objectionable. It’s much more of a detached amusement at their innovation in the failure department than any form of hatred.

Yeah, I spent most of last season having the same argument about Tua vs. Hurts. Willing to admit I was wrong about that one.

If anyone cares about the heisman anymore the finalists are Tua Tagovailoa, Kyler Murray, and Dwayne Haskins. Honestly think it’ll be pretty close between Murray and Tua with Tua winning it in the end.
