You were up by a td at the half after NC State imploded in fg range, then got a 70 yard pick 6 on their opening 3Q drive, then held off their 4th and 1 attempt on your 6 on their next drive. Two 3-and-out punts later and you got a 77 yard rush for TD then traded punts until that last drive. Not to suggest anything untoward, but the game ended with a 4-12 penalty advantage for ND (I'm just going to
assume that's a season-high for NC State, who had 6 against Clemson and Louisville) and you also avoided any turnovers.
I agree NC State was pretty resigned by the time they were down 21 in the 4th quarter. You had a fine ypp advantage and NC State even had a couple of big returns. I can assure you I've seen more dominating 21 point wins, though.
