I can't believe SUNJ is a win against a team they can beat and one upset win from a bowl without any Quarterback play.

We scored 14 points in the third quarter and zero points in the fourth quarter, ending the game taking knees with goal to go after running out the final 8:40. It was as dominating as a 21 point win could get, NC State pretty much was resigned to their fate the entire second half

You were up by a td at the half after NC State imploded in fg range, then got a 70 yard pick 6 on their opening 3Q drive, then held off their 4th and 1 attempt on your 6 on their next drive. Two 3-and-out punts later and you got a 77 yard rush for TD then traded punts until that last drive. Not to suggest anything untoward, but the game ended with a 4-12 penalty advantage for ND (I'm just going to assume that's a season-high for NC State, who had 6 against Clemson and Louisville) and you also avoided any turnovers.

I agree NC State was pretty resigned by the time they were down 21 in the 4th quarter. You had a fine ypp advantage and NC State even had a couple of big returns. I can assure you I've seen more dominating 21 point wins, though.

This is eerily like a Holtz-era discussion.

Which means we'll lose in Miami to Stanford.

Its hard to view Miami under Mark Richt as an elite team. Where are the hookers and blow?

It just doesn't pass the eye test.

UCF still 18th in CFB playoff rankings, behind Va Tech & Mississippi St. They're not even trying

Annually the SEC had to have their top team forfeit the bye and play the top G5?

So pretty much everyone has Penn State falling the same or more places than Ohio State despite Penn State losing a road game to a ranked conference opponent by 3 points while Ohio State got absolutely skull ****ed to a *now* ranked opponent who really didn't look like one before that game. OK, but I don't get it.

Is it that the opponent Penn State lost to by one on the road the week before, who were coming off a bye week, got skull ****ed?

It's that we all hate PSU and want to rank them low just to piss off their horrible fans, whatever the models say.

Then annually the SEC would win

This is all assuming we win these games. Don't think anyone has a tougher remaining schedule than auburn pending of course if we get to Atlanta.
Usually it's lose 2 games and dream about next year. Auburn right now is the first team in the playoff era to be the exception to the rule. A 2 loss team that actually controls their own playoff destiny. Enjoy the ride. Gotta root for you guys cuz chaos.

If Auburn wins out, but UGA loses to Kentucky and GA Tech and Alabama loses to Miss St, I don’t think auburn gets in with a 13-0 Wisconsin, 12-1 Clemson, 12-1 Oklahoma and 11-1 Notre Dame

If Auburn wins out they will have beaten UGA twice, as well as Bama. The Eagle will then be better than ND and likely perched at #1.

I meant the actual polls like AP and CFP rankings (and, I guess, the Coach's).

This is a zero probability scenario worthy of an Auburn fan.

Uga losing to Auburn, Kentucky and ga tech and Alabama losing to miss st seems more unlikely than auburn winning out lol.

the only thing better than the chaos that Auburn winning out would cause would be the above and having no SEC in the playoffs. the tears would be delicious.
