Yes but Vandy out idiot’d him by kicking a 40+ yarder to go down 3 with a guy who had just missed from inside 25. So now the press will think Mullen is a genius.

Haskins and OSU wide receivers have been excellent. Rest of team, not so much.

The thing you're missing is there is only one team with any possibility of ever claiming the NY market (ever since NYU retired from competition due to the repeated, nigh constant, point shaving). College football means nothing there, although you can add the channels as 'premium' subscriptions. But the conference with that school *may* be able to leverage themselves into the base packages and the sick sick sick sick lots of money that would entail. From a potential money standpoint, it would be insane to not add Rutgers even though they suck, always have, most likely always will, no one likes them, and no one ever will.

Rutgers QBs finished the game with the following statline:

2-17 for 8 yards and 5 INTS. That has to be some kind of record.

Pitt’s 10:10 drive was positively Service Academy-esque.

I guess it is naive of me to think that a decision would ever be made solely on the basis of adding the best product possible to the conference.
