Man, Dan Mullen seems like an enormous douchebag, even by SEC coach standards.

Yeah, the "offsetting unsportsmanlike conduct on both teams" will really teach 'em.

New rule this year. Fair catch a kickoff between the goal line and the 25 and it is considered a touchback. Just more of taking the kickoff out of football. I've actually only seen it utilized a couple times.

Seems dumb that a team foul counts towards one player's ejection

apparently that counts against each player individually, so one player got ejected because that was his second. Can that possibly be correct?

If UF Vandy get in another fight, will the whole game be cancelled because everyone is ejected?

I still have no idea why the Big Ten took Rutgers. They add nothing to the conference. The whole concept that the Big Ten Network wanted to expand its footprint on the east coast makes no sense to me because I can't imagine there are enough Rutgers sports fans to add much to the ratings.

Pittsburgh (east coast and a rival for Penn State), Missouri (geographically logical and a rival for Illinois) or even Kansas (basketball) would have made way more sense.

And don't forget TCU and Texas Tech the other night. 17-14 I know the starting QB for tech was out but still.

It's not about rutgers sports or fanbase, it was literally new york TV market for the current schools. Maryland was for DC. Kansas made sense for basketball but not football. Nobody gives a **** about Pittsburgh. Missouri would've been fine but SEC probably gets them more money and there's already enough teams as it is (unless texas wants in). Dunno if kansas/pitt qualify academically since big ten still actually gives a **** about that.
