You actually can't try to make sounds or gestures or whatever that's meant to confuse offensive players into thinking it's the snap count. Probably seems weird, but you're just not allowed to do it, it's angle shooting. It's rarely seen because you just don't do it.

Due to like 8 injuries I went in to play noseguard once. I had a great idea to just reach in and dislodge the ball during the snap. It worked. And again. And now the quarterback was yelling at the center. And again. And all hell broke loose. The refs walked up and asked me if that's what I was doing and I said, "I don't remember."

They threw me out of the game. So unfair, nobody told me.

Seems it's unsportsmanlike in NFL. This is DoG in college? And ya sucks viewer can't hear or see it. Trust the refs I guess.
I saw it the first one

No idea about second

Oh but Jimbo and some defenders were clearly trying to argue after the 2nd one that it was just their defensive signals that accidentally simulated a count

Which is hilarious and an obvious admission

You (I mean ND) may want to throw a hissy fit about this in order to prevent it in the future. Worked for us and it would be easy for you, you'd just threaten to never again play anyone who lined up a bye in front of you.
I think Saban had to go on the road twice in a row to play top 10 teams and dropped one to Spurrier. No one had won both games under that condition since Lou Holtz in 89.
