Saban about to have simultaneous brain and cardiac events.

Horrible coaching by Saban at the end of the half. You're down 14. Call TOs. Force TexAM to get a first down. Manufacturer another possession with 50ish secs left.

I think somebody may have been brave enough to mention that to him via his headphones after the 1st down. He motioned to let the clock run and didn't look happy about having to tell somebody that.

eta: He was on tilt and wanted to get into the locker room.

Happy we are on the most obscure network that isn't the pacn. We have one of those simultaneous possession CSI situations.

Right, sorry for my wording, Holly and Ames.

I meant "would be a bigger moneyline favorite if odds offered precisely reflected reality and all information was perfect"

Yeah. I went on a big rant about that.

Even if you think your offense is so in-need of halftime adjustments that it's negative EV to get the ball back, it's still indefensible to not force the team you're trailing to by 2 TD to punt from inside their own 15. Force them to have a good snap, prevent a punt block, and prevent a big return. Sheesh.

I know Saban would say "bad things could also happen for our side, what if there's a roughing the punter" but just LOL, these things are weighted, bigly in our favor, and you can't be risk averse down 14, you have to take any EV you can find.

That one spot was off by 3 yards. Don't think I've seen that before.

Also, Saban either thought, or pretended to think, that the sideline reporter was asking why he didn't call timeouts on the last offensive possession, when she was asking about aTm's last possession

"Joint possession" declared on a potential Michigan muff. Tie goes to receiving team? Never seen that before (on a fumble recovery).
