My parents always taught me that if you don't have anything positive to say, you shouldn't say anything at all, so here are this week's games:

Friday, Sep 18, 2020 - NCAA Football Game
7:30 PM 145 Campbell
146 Coastal Carolina -26½

Saturday, Sep 19, 2020 - NCAA Football Game
12:00 PM 103 UL Lafayette
104 Georgia State 17

12:00 PM 113 Boston College
114 Duke -5

12:00 PM 119 Syracuse
120 Pittsburgh -21½

12:00 PM 133 Navy
134 Tulane -7½

12:00 PM 141 Tulsa
142 Oklahoma State -22½

12:00 PM 143 Houston
144 Baylor -3

I think this game just got thrown on the schedule like a week ago or something? Ironically, the toughest OOC game Baylor's played in 2 decades

1:30 PM 121 Appalachian State
122 Marshall 4

2:30 PM 139 South Florida
140 Notre Dame -26

This is what passes for a marquee OOC matchup this year, I guess

3:30 PM 105 Florida Atlantic
106 Georgia Southern +5½

3:30 PM 109 Central Florida
110 Georgia Tech +7½

UCF must be like actually very good? I think having played a game is probably a huge advantage this year compared with years past, and GT winning at FSU wasn't a fluke. Could easily have won by a lot more. Needless to say, will be riding my $$$ wave on GT moneyline again.

3:30 PM 111 Charlotte
112 North Carolina -27½

4:00 PM 135 Troy
136 Middle Tennessee State +3½

6:00 PM 129 SMU
130 North Texas 14

7:30 PM 115 Miami Florida
116 Louisville -2½

Whelp this is it! Gameday will be here, a matchup between a team that is 10-15 over the last 2 years and a team that was shut out by Louisiana Tech two games ago. In all seriousness though, this should be an Actually Decent Football Game. Both have a warmup game against a solid opponent under their belts and in case you forgot D'Eriq King was an absolute baller when he was at Houston way back in the Pre Pandemic Era.

7:30 PM 125 Louisiana Tech
126 Southern Miss -5

7:30 PM 127 Texas State
128 UL Monroe 5

8:00 PM 107 Wake Forest
108 NC State -2½

Saturday, Sep 19, 2020 - Extra Games Game
12:00 PM 147 Austin Peay
148 Cincinnati -33½

I mean, THIS IS THE YEAR for the AAC. The Big-12 already humiliated themselves, the pac-12 and big-10 aren't playing (yet), and they have 3 ranked teams.

3:00 PM 149 Stephen F. Austin
150 UTSA -14½

4:00 PM 151 The Citadel
152 Clemson -44

7:00 PM 153 Central Arkansas
154 Arkansas State -17

9:00 PM 155 Abilene Christian
156 UTEP -4

Sunday, Sep 20, 2020 - NCAA Football Game
12:00 AM 123 Liberty
124 Western Kentucky -14

B/c I was curious about AAC above, I looked up OOC games where they have a chance to make some statements:

Cincy v Army (who could easily go 10-2 or 11-1)
Houston @ Baylor this week
SMU @ TCU (postponed)
USF @ ND (this week)
UCF @ GT (this week)
Tulsa @ OK State (this week)

ND's AD said the "phone was wringing off the hook," probably because USF kept him on the line long enough to agree to a 3 game series. But games 2&3 are contingent upon game 1 being played on Saturday. If anyone is laying cancellation odds, take them because the Bulls would draft them out of the dorms.

"Ed knew."

Spoiler:
Who ever thought those two words might appear in the same sentence?

Just a little heads up. A number of new game films popped up in our drives last night and more news spread today about possible scheduling of games. I think if you wanted to scout some football talent from a power 5 conference in the Midwest youre going to get your chance.

He used the word "hope" repeatedly while telling his entire team to just keep playing football and catch the virus.
I mean, do we really know what he said? He could've been rattling off his Grandma's Cajun Seafood Gumbo recipe, who could tell?

And it's official. Only five weeks before we get to test the ILP/Riverman betting jinx for another season.

Big Ten is a joke. By playing again they are basically admitting they were just bandwagon jumping when they canceled and had an 'oh ****' moment when nobody jumped on with them. Gutless

Thus far, for me, his play has been the sole highlight of the season.

A team that already canceled one game due to a COVID spike on the heels of a hurricane and days without power vs. a team whose head coach quit after an opening home loss to South Alabama. And the loser team with interim head coach making his debut in a 25% stadium is favored by 5.

I have no idea if this is right or wrong, or even will happen.

There maybe an unofficial practice time for schools to meet up with out of conference foes. Maybe during the first week of October(like a Tuesday). It would maybe be against school in state or neighboring states.

The BUG was driving the bandwagon, but Notre Dame didn't get on.

Sure is a good thing they’re protected by that bubble.

Mike Norvell got corona. Won’t coach vs Miami. Man FSU just can catch a break. That’s too bad.
In all seriousness, hope Norvell doesn’t show many symptoms and recovers.

That was a pretty flagrant non-call on Tulane's last lob.
