THURSDAY
7:30 PM 115 North Carolina +6½
116 Pittsburgh -6½

Only one game, but it's a good one. UNC entered the season in the top-10 but has been an up and down 5-4. Nice wins over Wake, Miami and UVA but losses to GT and VT and FSU. Pitt wins the non-clemson side of the ACC if they win out... they're 1 game up on Miami but don't have the tiebreak and 1 game up on UVA but still have them to play.

Friday, Nov 12, 2021 - NCAA Football Game
6:00 PM 117 Cincinnati -23
118 South Florida 23

After 3 consecutive close calls against the middle of the AAC pack as a 20+ point favorite, Cincy needs some style points.

9:00 PM 119 Wyoming +13½
120 Boise State -13½

Saturday, Nov 13, 2021 - NCAA Football Game
12:00 PM 121 West Virginia 6
122 Kansas State -6

12:00 PM 125 Connecticut 41
126 Clemson -41

12:00 PM 133 Michigan -1½
134 Penn State +1½

Michigan has no margin for error after losing to Sparty. Needs to win here and @ Maryland next week to set up a winner-take-all showdown with OSU. Penn State is in the B1G spoiler role, and can crush the dreams of Michigan and Michigan State over the next couple of weeks.

12:00 PM 135 Rutgers 7
136 Indiana -7

12:00 PM 137 Houston -24½
138 Temple +24½

Likely Cincy's lone hope for a second top-25 win. Bummer that UCF (which has a quality win over Boise) is two one score wins away from also being ranked.

12:00 PM 141 Syracuse 3
142 Louisville -3

12:00 PM 149 Oklahoma -5½
150 Baylor +5½

The start of Oklahoma's brutal back-loaded gauntlet where they play Baylor, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, then one of them again. They're about to go from zero top-25 games to four real quick. Win em all and they'll surely jump Cincy, lose 1 and they likely won't.

12:00 PM 153 Northwestern +24½
154 Wisconsin -24½

12:00 PM 173 East Carolina 5
174 Memphis -5

12:00 PM 175 Mississippi State +5½
176 Auburn -5½

12:00 PM 185 Central Florida 7
186 SMU -7

12:00 PM 193 New Mexico State +51½
194 Alabama -51½

2:00 PM 123 Georgia State +10½
124 Coastal Carolina -10½

2:00 PM 155 Western Kentucky -18
156 Rice 18

2:00 PM 157 Utah -24
158 Arizona 24

2:30 PM 159 South Alabama +22½
160 Appalachian State -22½

3:00 PM 207 Georgia Southern 2
208 Texas State -2

3:30 PM 127 Minnesota +5½
128 Iowa -5½

Probably close to an elimination game, although Nebraska could make things funny and generate a 3 or 4 way tie between Minn/Iowa/Wisco/Purdue. Title seems very likely to come down to Minny/Wisconsin in the final week.

3:30 PM 129 Duke +11½
130 Virginia Tech -11½

3:30 PM 131 Boston College 2
132 Georgia Tech -2

3:30 PM 177 Charlotte 7
178 Louisiana Tech -7

3:30 PM 179 Iowa State -10½
180 Texas Tech +10½

ISU still alive in the B-12 race

3:30 PM 181 UL Lafayette -7
182 Troy 7

3:30 PM 183 Florida Atlantic -7
184 Old Dominion 7

3:30 PM 191 Southern Miss 33
192 UTSA -33

3:30 PM 197 Georgia -20
198 Tennessee 20

Tennessee looks pretty competent this year despite the max exodus of talent and being Tennessee. Hendon Hooker is the best QB they've had in a long time, and an upset here could really up the stakes of the SEC title game for UGA.

3:30 PM 199 Purdue 21
200 Ohio State -21

Committee dared to not rank Purdue. 2018 anybody?

3:30 PM 201 Miami Florida -2½
202 Florida State +2½

After a string of close losses, Miami put together a few narrow wins. If they win out and Pitt drops a game, they'll go to the ACCCG

3:30 PM 203 UAB +4½
204 Marshall -4½

3:30 PM 209 Florida International 10
210 Middle Tennessee State -10

4:00 PM 139 Maryland 13
140 Michigan State -13

If I could bet money on the number of times an ESPN talking head says something like "MICHIGAN STATE MIGHT HAVE OVERLOOKED MARYLAND BUT NOT ANYMORE BECAUSE THEY ARE MAD AT THE DISRESPECT BY THE COMMITTEE" I would be very rich.

4:00 PM 165 Hawaii -3½
166 UNLV +3½

4:00 PM 187 South Carolina pk
188 Missouri pk

4:00 PM 211 Tulsa -2½
212 Tulane +2½

4:00 PM 213 UTEP 1
214 North Texas -1

5:00 PM 215 Arkansas State +2½
216 UL Monroe -2½

5:30 PM 169 Stanford +12½
170 Oregon State -12½

7:00 PM 163 Arizona State -5½
164 Washington +5½

7:00 PM 189 Kentucky -21
190 Vanderbilt 21

7:00 PM 195 Texas A&M -2½
196 Mississippi +2½

7:00 PM 217 New Mexico +24½
218 Fresno State -24½

7:00 PM 219 Air Force -2½
220 Colorado State +2½

7:30 PM 145 Kansas +30½
146 Texas -30½

7:30 PM 147 NC State +1½
148 Wake Forest -1½

If Wake wins, they will win the ACC Clemson division as long as they also beat Clemson or BC. If NC State wins, they're in if they win out (Cuse and UNC) and in if they lose either of those but Wake loses to either Clemson or BC.

7:30 PM 151 Notre Dame -5½
152 Virginia +5½

The grind of mediums continues

7:30 PM 205 Arkansas -2½
206 LSU +2½

8:00 PM 143 TCU 13
144 Oklahoma State -13

Big-12 and title implications etc

9:00 PM 161 Colorado 17
162 UCLA -17

10:30 PM 167 Washington State +13½
168 Oregon -13½

Ohio State has 3 ranked games coming up, while Oregon has either 2 or zero (both against Utah). So, they need to win here and against Oregon State by a comfortable margin to stay ahead of Ohio State, as that Stanford loss looks worse and worse.

10:30 PM 221 Utah State 5
222 San Jose State -5

10:30 PM 223 Nevada 3
224 San Diego State -3

Notre Dame’s 6th opponent coming off a bye this year. Grind of well-rested mediums.

But I’m betting that’s a small factor compared to whether Mr. “Wait, wait, let me see if I can still pass with this broken rib before I tell anyone about it (game-icing pick)” can play.

Miami, Florida and Florida State all have a losing record. What's the last time on that one, I wonder?

Just a quick glance through ESPN.... not after 2003.

2011 was close. 5 games in The U and FSU were 2-3. Florida was 4-1 but lost 4 straight after. But they didn't all have losing records at the same time.

I don't understand how all the talking heads think Alabama still has a shot if they lose to UGA.

They'd be an 2-loss non champion with somewhere between 1 and 3 top-25 wins. (Ole Miss very likely. Auburn and Arkansas will finish at best 8-4 if they go 4-0 in their final 2 games between them. Odds are they lose at least one between the two of them and one finishes ranked and the other not). Their noncon wins are over Mercer, New Mexico State, Southern Miss and a ~7-5 Miami team.

Why are we even so sure they're ahead of Texas A&M?

ATM would also be a 2-loss non champion. Granted the two losses would both be worse than Bama's, but ATM would have the advantage of better wins (better overall win, more top-25 wins (both over Ole Miss and Auburn say, and then ATM has Bama on top of that) and obviously the head to head win.

I don't see how a 2 loss non champion with 2 top-25 wins gets in over a 0 loss champion with 2 top-25 wins and a better best win (cincy) much less a 1 loss champion with 3 top-25 wins (Oklahoma if they lose 1 then win out)

If Ohio State loses to say Purdue, then wins out, they'd be a 2-loss champion with one loss to a top tier team and one loss to a middling team, with probably four top-25 wins.

etc etc

Obviously none of this matters because ZOMG BAMA but still. Committee is at least one notch better than voters
