Akron scores to assumably tie in the 3rd, but NIU blocks & returns the XP for a 29-26 lead.

My favorite play; now that touchdown is worth 1 point more than a field goal!

The worst penalty I've ever seen. Ref should be fired on the spot for that. Compltely unacceptable and more reason why any personal foul needs to be reviewed.

Not finding that record, but two years ago Texas Tech and Oklahoma combined for 1,708 yards int a 66-59 game (which I forgot to mention in the writeup) which was a Big 12 record. So something north of that.

In 1990 Houston had 1,021 yards all on their own against SMU in that 95-21 game and that's the record for one team, so it's definitely less than 2,042 yards.
