Yeah I don't get it. Why all the consternation. Nothing eventful really happened here today. Two roughly equal teams played each other and the home team won. Yawn. No reason to get pissed. Complete and utter apathy is the appropriate reaction. Now if Michigan lost, yeah I would be pissed, but that's different. Michigan is projected to go 10-2 this year. We finally have a QB. Losing to a team like Illinois would be a catastrophe.

Wow. If this is true, you really have to start questioning whether he is the long term solution for Nebraska.

Having not been to Lincoln Nebraska, or actually the entire state, I'll assume 'shenanigans' is just about all there is to do.

at this point I almost feel bad for Illinois, where losing to them on the road by 8 is such an embarrassment that it's the topic of the week.

Illinois has 13 million people and its best team is Northwestern! Nebraska doesn't even have 2m!

The states that border Nebraska also have like 50 people! In some sense, Illinois SHOULD beat Nebraska. The only thing that makes you think otherwise is the fact that they won some titles running the option in the 90s! That was way before any of these players were born!
