You have to think in terms of karmic cosmic destiny.

UGAs destiny is to lose to Florida while ranked number one.

Herschel was a one time deal.

Which puts UF on the SECCG pyre which lets UGA slip in at #4.

i haven't looked at lines at all, but here's my hunch based on guesstimating the market
Stanford loses but covers at home vs Oregon
Oregon St. covers vs Washington and wins at home (this one is up in the air)
USC covers at Colorado
Cal wins at home but WSU covers
ASU covers, not sure who wins
if i was actually betting, the results so far (I rarely bet the ML):
Stanford covering, not the UO ML
USC covering and the USC ML
WSU covering, not the Cal ML
still think OSU covers and wins
have now decided ASU covers and loses
still haven't looked up the lines for these games.

UGA
Bama

They’ll play twice this season, likely splitting SECCG and NCG

with UGAs luck they will beat Bama in the SECCG and lose to them in the playoffs, in fact i'll be very surprised if that's not how it plays out.

Gets a little hazy after that. Are we supposed to give PeenStaint credit for beating this Auburn even though Bo was clearly bitten by a vampire within the past week?

Wisconsin and IU are still decent teams.

the only team who has beaten four teams with a pulse is OK State, but they ran hot as hell to get there

Selling 14 Clemson

They're getting a ton of credit for playing UGA close, but they haven't improved at all, and UGA is now a juggernaut. Clemson would get wrecked if they played now.

Clemson will lose 2 of their 4 remaining vs. non joke teams (Pitt, Lolville, Wake, SC)

picked all five covers and went 2-3 on imaginary ML bets.

keep an eye on OSUw odds. they are on the fringe of cracking the top 25 but i think they're a mid-teens type of team and may be undervalued for a brief period of time. they opened -4 at WSU and have already been bet down to -3.

only loss was the opener at Purdue, but they didn't start the same QB (Nolan) that's started every game since. yeah, Nolan was 7/15 for 48 yards passing against UW but only because Jonathan Smith knew they could run the ball down UWs throats, and they did at a 50/242 clip. remember they also gashed USC last week for 51/322. they are top 12 in the country yards/carry.

GoldenBears I like how you can roll out of bed without playing live poker in forever, casually run deep in a WSOP $25k, and seemingly post in this thread on breaks. Never change.

Oh sure. I meant on top of that. Poor attempt at a mediocre joke.

Really my problem is other than the Auburn and 2x Western Kentucky, I have not watched a single big 10 game (and only LSU-UCLA) nor even any recaps. Plus I was mainly focused on their opponents. With that caveat, in a poll-kinda-way I’d probably just stick in a virtual 4 way tie for third:

3. Iowa (drawback is +12 on turnovers)
4. Penn State (Auburn @ home < Iowa State away)
5. Michigan
6. Sparty (they looked better than Indiana against Western Kentucky?)
7. Oklahoma
8. tOSU
9. Cincinnati
10. Oklahoma State/Kentucky (to be 5-0 with a -9 turnover margin seems…improbable. Ask Wisconsin I guess)

But it feels pretty intellectually dishonest.
