Man, this was hard. Half the teams that have beaten anyone lost... crazy to think that beating almost any mediocre team on the road is good enough for a top-10 resume through week 3.

Stanford is actually a good team.

Nasty defense, OL is good, Costello is the best QB they’ve had since Luck, and Arcega-Whiteside can win a 1v1 battle against anybody.

But I’ve now reached the point in the season where I’ve realized that all the debate, speculation, and research into who’s actually good is just pointless because Alabama is just going to hammersmash all 15 opponents they play this year by 20 or more.

In my sports life time (since 1988) Alabama has won 6 national titles with nothing but game manager QBs, which is pretty unreal. Then in the 2nd half of the national title game last year we all learned the extremely depressing news (for those who enjoy suspense in sports) that Bama has a superstar QB. The perfect analogy for this unfortunate turn of events is the Golden State Warriors.

GSW + KD = Game over NBA

Bama + Tua = Game over college football

Sigh.

Yeah the idea of Bama losing this season seems laughable. But if Georgia isn't willing to be a sacrificial lamb for the SEC title game...I know a team that would be willing...
