He's one of the BEST quarterbacks in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Football Bowl Subdivision at leading his team to a placement in a Bowl Championship Series football game Jaws!
Do you think if they wen to Michigan and requested to be able to hire RichRod without a buyout, or at least a minimal one, Michigan would accept? I can see that being a sick hire for Miami too.

You want Michigan to pay his buyout so he can go to Miami? I don't see why they would do that.
I admittedly haven't followed the RichRod thing that closely beyond AD Brandon saying he was going to wait till after the bowl to 'decide', and that it seemed like a $4.5mil buyout was going weigh against firing him. If they wanted to fire him/wanted him gone, a school like Miami or someone taking up some of that slack would seem to help, but yeah I'm just floating hypotheticals.
Apparently, according to what I've been reading on the espn boards (so take this FWIW), is that Mike Leech is practically throwing himself at Minnesota and accepted the job yet they haven't even offered him the job and probably don't want to. Guess he needs his settlement money from espn soon
