SC's schedule is pretty tough. @BYU vs UU, @UW, @ND with no byes. But if the PAC is as wide open as it looks, there's an equal chance of Helton coming to South Bend ranked and/or with a losing record.

Lynn Swann quit as USC’s AD. Wonder what that means for Helton’s job status? He better keep winning if he wants to be employed. I imagine the new AD will probably wanna bring in his own guy if he’s given the chance... say, one Meyer of the Urban variety?

Rumors out there that FSU is done with Taggart and will pursue Urban Meyer. I could see FSU canning Taggart after this year and starting over but there is no way they get Urbz. Unless Meyer really just wants Florida’s fans heads to explode or something

Wow, Taggart's buyout is still 17 million and FSU doesn't have the money to throw around that other schools do. I'd be ecstatic if they just got rid of Taggart and brought in whoever the hot coach is in the MAC. If they got Urban as well, that's just nuts.
