The Leach to AR is as much white noise as the Gus talk was. Some booster mentions something in a Dickson Street bar and the next thing you know it's on an SEC blog.

razorbacker is more dialed in, I'll defer to him on this stuff. But I can't dig up anything but noise.

One thing certain is, BoT has a hardon for 'state connections'. Sure is limiting to the prospect pool. And it caused people like Holtz and Nolan Richardson to be treated like ****.

But I like Norvell and he has the connect. Memphis to Fayetteville is a move up for him.

Look at his record at two terrible jobs. He won 8+ the last 8 years at Texas Tech and had them ranked 5 out of the last 6 years. They had been ranked 7 times in the history of their program. 9-4, 8-5, and 9-3 the last 3 years at Washington State. The guy probably does more with less than any coach in college football.

Arkansas Rivals board has Leach as one of the top candidates on their hot board. They have not removed Norvell so maybe the info from Ole Miss is false. Gus, Chad Morris, Norvell, and MR LANE KIFFIN are the ones listed at the top of the list. Matt Campbell is also listed but his buyout is too much.

I'd have Jeff Brohm way up on the list. He did well at WKU and he had Purdue competitive this year. I think you get a lot of the upside of Petrino without the baggage.
