Florida will probably be at least a slight favorite in 4 conference games: UK, Vandy, UT, Missouri (it's in Gainesville, and Mizzou should regress to the mean). They'll be a dog, but not a prohibitive one in 2-3 more (not Bama). They have 3 OOC games against cupcakes. I think they've only got 2 auto-losses FSU, Bama).

If everything bounces their way, I could see them winning 9 games and Muschamp is safe (even though 9 should be an average win total at Florida). He should be safe with 8 wins unless a couple of the losses are complete embarrassments.

5 is a possibility if things go poorly. 6 and they make a bowl, but he's still gone.

I see 7 as the likeliest, and I have no idea if they fire him or not.

How many starters are back at Vandy? I agree that Mason was a fine hire.

Hasn't UT had two solid recruiting classes the past two years? I think Rivals had them top 5 in 2014. Though maybe the same could be said for UF.

Florida's going to be installing a new offense and it still seems iffy if they've actually got the folks to run it. I think a significant faceplant is still really possible.

I have a feeling that Muschamp is done regardless, because whatever his record is, he's not a good head coach and people know it.

You were on the right track. His record is literally worse than Zook's

If UF had drawn someone else in the Sugar Bowl, UF wins a boring SEC DOMINANCE game and 2013 just becomes a freak outlier. And Strong is probably still at UL who will stagger a bit now that they are in a tougher conference.

-Great battles of college football history.

I don't think it matters if Nebraska ends up winning this game or not. Pelini is probably gone at the end of the year, right? How do Nebraska fans feel about him?

But if Nebraska loses...Pelini should probably be fired by the time he gets to the locker room.

Charlie Strong on the hot seat 2 games into his tenure at texas?

Looks like Michigan fans are finding out what Auburn fans found out in '08. Borges wasn't the problem.

Also, good luck getting ND to ever play again now. I'd imagine they'll just want to let that one marinate.

Yeah, when you have an offensive line with like 3 combined starts and a QB with none, half the team has been kicked off or quit, it's probably coaching.

He did kick off his two starting tackles and a myriad of third stringers.

Can't be a disciplinarian in 2014 at a school like Texas. I don't see it working for him. He also botched the OC situation badly, he's trying to play keep away in the big12. Well Baylor, OU, OkSt, and probably even Tech and WVU will just flat out outscore you doing so.

It's a big east/ten mindset in the big12. KSU pulls it off with JUCOs and good kids but if Texas is striving to be Kansas State then Baylor and A&M have caught a huge break.

I'd like to see Sumlin get a shot as an NFL HC, for mostly selfish raisins.

A&M is recruiting the state at a similar level to Mack's peak and he has grabbed a couple out of state studs as well. They are practically shutting Texas and OU out.

Borges was a ****ing problem bro. Not the only problem, but a ****ing huge ass problem that has been well documented nonetheless. The biggest problem with the offense is that the kids who should be juniors or seniors on the oline didn't come to Michigan because of the late RR years.
