Why does Saban even need this scum of the earth anywhere near his program? Not a good look. His whole thing was coaching rehab for coaches who can’t coach good, not coaching rehab for coaches who are just flat out terrible people.

I assume, when asked, he'll say something polite like, "I don't care what you think." or "The fans only have themselves to blame for this."

On the bright side, one can hope he'll make working for him a living hell on Durkin, at least. Other than that, they did play some teams that played ND and Oklahoma this year, so maybe helping with film breakdown. Replacement for the Butch Jones role, audition for a coaching position (Durkin was DC under Harbaw and Muschamp), maybe somebody to take over "Maryland recruiting" (which, evidently, is a thing), idk.

Agree it was one thing when it was *funny* but now he's seeming like a crack whore.

Just wanted to say one lst time how Snyder did it with Kansas JUCO players. That's like making an apple pie with rejects from the cider barrel (rejects).

hopefully Saban dies soon or is at least incapacitated by a stroke or something

I'm no longer a Saban apologist. anybody that wants to get in a parting shot, feel free. I'll eat the crow

ASU supposedly already has three top 20 QB commits for next year.

Edit: Looking at the rankings, it is propaganda by the guy who runs the ASU site, they do have 3 top 20 QBs, but that is when ranking the Pro and Dual separately. LOL

That still seems quite good for anyone besides maybe Bama, USC, Georgia, Florida, or Ohio St.

I don't think you would really want multiple top QB recruits from one class.

Let them fight it out for the vacancy, and have the 3rd stringer transfer.

So, apparently Gus was never forced to renegotiate his contract or forced to take a lower buyout to keep his job. Nothing in his contract has changed, according to the man himself.

Always thought this story didn’t make any sense. Why in the world would a coach agree to a lower buyout? Just never made any sense. Of course every media outlet ran with this story because it’s such an auburn thing to happen.

I will not hold you to the sins of your preferred teams coach.

This is official now. Can’t see Taggart lasting after next season if this doesn’t work out.

Next year would have to be pretty abysmal for FSU to pull the ripcord after only two seasons. I haven’t looked at the data but it seems very rare that coaches get canned before their third year.

I do agree that hiring a Briles should be a burn the program down offense tho

They just pulled in a good recruiting class. They’ll improve.

They'll be fine in 2 years. The question is next year. The OL was complete AIDS and I'm not sure how much it can realistically improve. They already signed 1 Juco OL and they're looking at more. They need some immediate help.

Is Francois staying? Thought I saw he might test nfl waters. Can’t imagine he’d be a high draft pick if at all.

They have had top 5 classes in 2014/15/16/17. Their 2018 class was 10th and 2019 was about 15th. Not sure who transfered and who sucked but they shouldn't be that bad.
